A woman in Ohio was on a walk with her dog, one that she’s taken hundreds of times before. This time however, she was met by two men who came out of the bushes with baseball bats and said “You’re coming with us”. The men were not deterred by her dog.

They were deterred however, by the firearm that the woman drew from her purse and quickly pointed toward them.

I have this and I’m not afraid to use it.

As you probably have already guessed, this sent the two men fleeing at a quick pace.

Police are investigating whether a bounty hunter assaulted a woman in Canton Township while taking her husband into custody Sunday.

The 29-year-old man, Richard Allen-Bass, was wanted out of Washtenaw County for not making payments or showing up to court after a drunken driving arrest, his wife Camille Allen said.

The drought in California carries on, however, the recent 6.0 magnitude earthquake near Napa, CA has caused water to well up in normally dry creeks in the surrounding area near Vallejo , in Solano county .

The flow of water began directly after the earthquake, currently still flowing.

A Dairy Queen employee in Albuquerque, New Mexico had to use a concealed firearm to defend himself and his co-workers from an armed robber yesterday evening.

According to the Albuquerque Journal,

[BCSO spokesman Sgt. Aaron Williamson] said the man went to the Dairy Queen’s window with a gun and demanded money. The cashier gave him money and ducked behind the counter. The man then asked for more money. That’s when a different restaurant employee, “in fear of his own life,” fired at the robber, he said. Police in a West Virginia city altered video evidence in the death of a mentally ill black man who was shot and killed last year during a confrontation with officers, a lawyer for the victim’s family said on Thursday.

Sherman L. Lambert Sr., an attorney representing the estate of Wayne A. Jones, filed a legal motion on Wednesday in a $200 million lawsuit against five Martinsburg police officers.
