WASHINGTON (AP) — Anthony Elonis claimed he was just kidding when he posted a series of graphically violent rap lyrics on Facebook about killing his estranged wife, shooting up a kindergarten class and attacking an FBI agent.

But his wife didn’t see it that way. Neither did a federal jury. Elonis, who’s from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, was convicted of violating a federal law that makes it a crime to threaten another person. In a far-reaching case that probes the limits of free speech over the Internet, the Supreme Court on Monday was to consider whether Elonis’ Facebook posts, and others like it, deserve protection under the First Amendment.   Continue reading “Justices weigh limits of free speech over Internet”

NEWPORT, Ore. (AP) — U.S. Coast Guard crews rescued five people whose fishing boat sank Saturday in the chilly Pacific waters off the Oregon coast.

The Coast Guard says it received a mayday call about 4:20 a.m. from the crew of the 75-foot Blazer saying they were taking on water 8 miles west of Siletz Bay. The boat crew called 10 minutes later to report that they were putting on cold water immersion suits and deploying a life raft.   Continue reading “Coast Guard rescues 5 after boat sinks off Oregon”

hemp seedsNatural Health 365 – by Lori Alton

Many foods are touted as “super foods,” but hemp seeds have the credentials to back up that claim. In fact, no other plant-based food has such a perfect ratio of all the essential amino (and fatty) acids in such an easily digestible form for human consumption as the hemp seed.

Their notoriety as a super food comes primarily from the significant amounts of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and gamma linolenic acid (GLA) they contain. These hemp seed benefits help to make hemp seeds a natural combatant for chronic inflammation, marking them as an important defense mechanism against chronic disease and the effects of premature aging.   Continue reading “Hemp seeds are a natural anti-inflammatory powerhouse”

ZURICH (Reuters) – Swiss voters overwhelmingly rejected proposals on Sunday that would have forced the central bank to buy huge amounts of gold and imposed strict curbs on immigration, in what is seen as a result strengthening Swiss ties with the European Union.

The measures proposed on Sunday reflect a growing sense that Switzerland is under siege by foreign workers eroding its Alpine culture and trading partners who have insisted in recent years that the Swiss dismantle their business model based on banking secrecy.   Continue reading “Swiss voters reject gold initiative”

James Wesley Rawles. The name is synonymous with “survival” and in his book Expatriates: A Novel of the Coming Global Collapse he continues providing the same reliable information we’ve come to expect from his previous books.

Expatriates takes place in different settings across the world in the aftermath of a global economic collapse.  One thing that is very timely, considering the recent activities of ISIS, is an Indonesian Muslim attack on Australia and the Philipines, where we find several displaced American characters. Meanwhile, in the USA, a family in Florida struggles to survive and to help protect their small town against those desperate souls who would pillage it.   Continue reading “Book Review: Expatriates, by James Wesley Rawles”

I am the Witness – by Andrew Hitchcock

The Rothschilds have been in control of the world for a very long time, and I produce my evidence for this below in a timeline.

The Rothschilds have, with their founding of Zionism, betrayed the principles of the Torah and as you will see in this timeline, the people who have suffered the most at the hands of these Zionists are the Jews.

I name individual Rothschilds where I can, but due to the secrecy which they shroud themselves in, naming the exact Rothschild is not always possible.   Continue reading “The History of The House of Rothschild”

CT (computed tomography) scans are now a well established medical imaging procedure which both the government and the scientific community have confirmed increases cancer risk. CT scanners bombard the human body with radiation levels more than 1000 times greater than a standard x-ray. They damage DNA and create mutations that spur cells to grow into tumors.

Currently, more than 80 million CT scans are performed annually in the United States, around half in women, reflecting the large number of individuals who are exposed to this source of radiation. Thought leaders in radiology are often quoted as estimating that 30% or more of advanced imaging tests may be unnecessary, and while there are few scientific data to precisely estimate the amount of overuse, many radiologists believe the proportion may be even higher.   Continue reading “CT Scans Can Expose The Body To Radiation Levels More Than 1000 Times Greater Than a Standard X-Ray”
