The Anti-Media – by Carey Wedler

When a politician claims to improve an oppressive condition, there is usually an unspoken catch.

This week, President Barack Obama unveiled his plan to deal with police brutality and militarization (which he helped to enable over the course of his presidency). He has ordered $263 million for 50,000 body cameras and called for restrictions and oversight on military equipment.

Though on its face the plan has good intentions, it has already been criticized by activists and the media.   Continue reading “Obama Appoints Notoriously Corrupt Police Commissioner to Improve Cops’ Credibility”

Truth Revolt – by Bradford Thomas

In a case with several parallels to both the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases, a South Carolina grand jury indicted a white police officer with murder Wednesday for the shooting of an unarmed black man. Despite the significant parallels and timing, however, the national media has largely ignored the story.

In May 2011, Bernard Bailey, a 54-year-old African American, came to the Eutawville (population 300) police department to complain about his daughter’s recent taillight ticket. When Police Chief Richard Combs, 35, attempted to arrest Bailey for obstruction of justice, Bailey refused and marched outside to his truck. Combs pursued Bailey to his truck and attempted to turn off the ignition, which resulted in a physical struggle between the two, ending with Combs shooting Bailey twice in the chest.   Continue reading “SC Jury Indicts White Officer for Killing Black Man – Media Ignores”

GROZNY, Russia (AP) — Police waged hours-long gunbattles with Islamic militants who attacked Chechnya’s capital Thursday, leaving at least 20 people dead and underscoring Russia’s vulnerability just as President Vladimir Putin used patriotic and religious imagery in his state-of-the-nation address to defend his standoff with the West.

The clashes in Grozny, the city’s biggest in years, dented a carefully nurtured image of stability created by Chechnya’s Kremlin-backed strongman after two separatist conflicts. The new violence raised fears of more attacks in Chechnya and widening unrest in the rest of Russia’s volatile North Caucasus region.   Continue reading “Islamic militants attack Chechen capital; 20 dead”

It’s for Festivus, a non-commercial festival “for the rest of us,” is close to coming back as a 6-foot stack of empty beer cans.

The Florida Department of Management Services this week approved the proposed holiday display from the Satanic Temple, which a year ago was rejected because the agency said its proposal was “grossly offensive.”   Continue reading “Satanic Temple Approved For Florida Capitol Holiday Display”

Legally, chimps are still just chimps, and are not entitled to the same rights as humans, according to the state of New York.

CDC says flu shot might workThe Organic Prepper

You know how the propaganda machine loves to crank up the push on flu shots every year. Well, this year’s batch is so ineffective even the notoriously dishonest optimistic CDC and pro-Pharma mainstream sources can’t tell you that you’re protected with a straight face.

The Center for Disease Control (and Big Pharma Pimp Extraordinaire) released an advisory yesterday letting us know that the vaccine is not really a very good match to the flu circulating this year. (The emphasis below is mine).   Continue reading “CDC Health Advisory: Get Your Flu Shot. It “Might” Work This Year. Sort Of.”

Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert made a strong appeal to defund President Obama’s “unconstitutional amnesty.”

Speaking to a crowd on Wednesday, Gohmert said the the U.S. must learn from history. “History has happened, and we either learn from it or repeat it,” Gohmert said. “But we’re repeating it. In 1986, one of our greatest presidents — I think the greatest of the 20th century — got duped. Why? Because he believed the Democratic leaders of the House and Senate who told him, ‘If you’ll just sign this amnesty then we’ll make sure the borders secured. We’ll give you the money we’ll take care of it.’ Well he did his part and gave the amnesty, and the Congress did not give him the money to secure the border.”   Continue reading “Gohmert: US Must Secure Border Before Considering Amnesty”
