Revised History – by Al Benson Jr.

In case anyone hasn’t figured it out by now, let me say it as politely as I can and still keep it printable. The American citizens are being played for suckers by both political parties. The Republicans won the mid-term elections. So what? The Council on Foreign Relations/Trilateral Commission/Bilderberger triad is still in full control of both parties and with their One World Government agenda why should we actually think a Republican victory will make any real difference? Do we have any bold new leadership being chosen by Republicans for either the House or Senate? Hardly. We’ve got John Boehner–again, and he is sided by Mitch McConnell in the Senate. These guys have been in the political arena so long you can’t even classify them as retreads, and for the record, let’s not kid ourselves, neither one will do a blessed thing to help regain liberty for the American people. They will both play political parlor games with Comrade Obama and it will all continue to be cutesy poo as usual.   Continue reading “Amnesty And Checks And Balances – We are being had by both parties”

WASHINGTON (AP) — Three big Wall Street banks that have owned commodities such as aluminum exposed themselves to risk and in some cases manipulated prices in a way that raised costs for consumers, a Senate investigation has found.

The heavy involvement of Goldman Sachs Group Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Morgan Stanley in the business of storing and moving commodities like oil, aluminum, uranium and copper also gives them unfair trading advantages in financial markets, according to a report issued Wednesday by the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations.   Continue reading “Wall Street Banks Manipulated Commodity Prices At Consumers’ Expense, Senate Report Finds”

Smartphone encryption could lead to death of a child, government fights backSent to us by a reader who said: Do they really think we are that stupid?

Android Central – by Chuong H Nguyen

The U.S. government is fighting back against new encryption technologies on smartphones made by Apple and those using Google’s latest version of Android. With a strongly worded argument, an official at the U.S. Department of Justice plainly stated that without access to a suspect’s phone, a child could die in cases such as kidnapping.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the tech giants and the DOJ are at a standoff on smartphone encryption:   Continue reading “Smartphone encryption could lead to death of a child, government claims”

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Ten years after banning the use of firing squads in state executions, Utah lawmakers on Wednesday endorsed a proposal to allow the practice again to avoid problems with lethal-injection drugs.

The proposal from Republican Rep. Paul Ray of Clearfield would call for a firing squad if the state cannot obtain the lethal injection drugs 30 days before the scheduled execution.   Continue reading “Utah revives plan for executions by firing squad”

Nov 17 (Reuters) – China and Australia on Monday sealed a landmark free trade agreement more than a decade in the making, significantly expanding ties between the world’s second largest economy and one of Washington’s closest allies in Asia.

The deal, which Australia called the best ever between Beijing and a Western country, will open up Chinese markets to Australian farm exporters and the services sector while easing curbs on Chinese investment in resource-rich Australia.   Continue reading “Australia, China deepen ties with landmark free trade deal”

Common Dreams – by Anastasia Pantsios, EcoWatch

While some of his Democratic colleagues joined with Republicans in pushing the Keystone XL pipeline, Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse and Hawaii Senator Brian Schatz had something different in mind. Today they unveiled the American Opportunity Carbon Fee Act.

Whitehouse, chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Subcommittee on Clean Air and Nuclear Safety, has long been an advocate for climate action. His official website features a page called “Climate Change: Time to Wake Up” and he has made 80 speeches in the Senate on the topic, giving one per week. In late October, he announced that he would propose a carbon pollution fee, with details to be introduced in the next few weeks. Today he revealed those details.   Continue reading “Carbon Fee Bill Introduced in the Senate”

It’s no secret that the Secret Service has had some issues protecting the White House of late, and at a hearing Wednesday morning in front of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tennessee, had a rather unique solution.

“Would a … moat … water, six feet around, be kind of attractive and effective?” Cohen asked Joseph Clancy, the acting director of the Secret Service.   Continue reading “Secret Service: Moat around White House ‘may be’ effective”

fergusonnationalresponsenetworkThe Daily Sheeple – by Melissa Melton

Everyone knows the government, with its lapdog mainstream media in lockstep, has whipped up the Ferguson situation into a total frenzy.

It doesn’t matter what the grand jury decides now. Fear and anger are very powerful weapons and everyone who has allowed the powers that (shouldn’t) be to steer their emotions on this one has taken the bait.

The cops have stocked up on nearly $200k worth of riot gear, less-lethal ammunition and the like. Ferguson residents have been advised to go get guns because the cops won’t be able to protect them all from what’s coming. Firearm sales in the area have skyrocketed. Everyone is on edge.   Continue reading “Not Just Ferguson: Protests Scheduled for 83 Cities, “Direct Action Trainings” Held for Protesters”

(ST. LOUIS) KMOV – One day after Gov. Jay Nixon declared a state of emergency ahead of the grand jury announcement in the Michael Brown shooting, south St. Louis residents grew concerned when they saw the National Guard setting up at a lot behind the Quik Trip near the intersection of Chippewa and Gravois.

“It’s strange and it doesn’t make it feel like home,” said Theresa Lear, who lives just one block away.   Continue reading “National Guard drill at south St. Louis gas station startles some residents”

Legislators plan to meet the day after Thanksgiving for a final update from the Parnell administration on the proposed natural gas pipeline. But they won’t be allowed to attend unless they sign a secrecy pledge.

While some lawmakers will decline to take the pledge, the Legislature arrived at this point because of a 69-page Parnell administration bill it approved overwhelmingly last spring that stresses secrecy on key details about the proposed Alaska Liquefied Natural Gas project. The title of the bill alone runs to 480 words.    Continue reading “Alaska Lawmakers asked to sign secrecy pledge on gasline before Walker takes office”

It’s an invasion. And New Jersey is at the front of the front lines. Over the past 4 years we’ve added more illegal aliens than any other state. Please, hold your applause.

The New American – by Michael Tennant

In the summer of 2012, conservative author Dinesh D’Souza scored big at the box office with his motion picture2016: Obama’s America, which detailed the many radical influences on President Barack Obama and argued that these influences portended serious trouble for the United States if Obama were reelected. The film, based on D’Souza’s 2010 bestseller The Roots of Obama’s Rage, grossed over $33 million in the United States, making it the second highest-grossing political documentary since 1982. It also undoubtedly earned D’Souza the enmity of Obama, whose campaign labeled the film “an insidious attempt to dishonestly smear the president.”   Continue reading “You’re a Criminal Now!”

A former judge has come out heavily against President Obama, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and MIT economist and Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber for the administration’s and congressional Democrats’ total lack of transparency and outright deception in getting the overly bureaucratic Affordable Care Act passed into law.

Judge Jeanine Pirro, host of FOX News Channel’s Justice, also said anyone involved in deceiving the public in a bid to convince voters to support the law ought to be charged with fraud.   Continue reading “Judge: Gruber, Obama Administration should be charged with conspiracy to commit fraud to pass Obamacare”
