Freeway shootoutLA Times – by JOSEPH SERNA, August 18, 2014

A section of the northbound 110 Freeway heading into downtown was closed early Monday as Los Angeles police investigated a shooting that they said left one of two gunmen dead and an officer wounded.

The incident involved two men firing at LAPD officers from an SUV when the officers tried to pull them over for reckless driving at about 2:20 a.m., police said. The two men sped on and off the freeway and twice fired at police, LAPD Deputy Chief Bob Green said.   Continue reading “LAPD officer wounded, suspect killed in 110 Freeway shootout”

Two new articles deal with political/genetic controversies over the origins of “the Jewish people” (of whom I consider myself a part for one tribal reason or another). Here is Israeli historian Schlomo Sand in Le Monde Diplomatique, writing, “Israel Deliberately Forgets Its History.” Sand says that the Jewish exile of 70 AD is a myth, and “the Jews” of Europe were created by conversion.

Then there is the question of the exile of 70 AD. There has been no real research into this turning point in Jewish history, the cause of the diaspora. And for a simple reason: the Romans never exiled any nation from anywhere on the eastern seaboard of the Mediterranean…   Continue reading “Israeli Historian: Palestinians Are Biological Descendants of Bible’s Jews”

This week, St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar relieved Officer Dan Page of his duty after video emerged of him making an hour-long speech full of hateful remarks directed towards African-Americans, women and President Barack Obama among others. Page also happened to be the officer who was caught on camera physically pushing CNN’s Don Lemon during a live report on the Ferguson protests.   Continue reading “St. Louis Police Chief Apologizes for Officer’s ‘Embarrassing’ Comments”

A Washington state-based gun rights group is steadily persuading cities and towns across the country to repeal local firearms regulations and give that power back to the states.

The organization, the Second Amendment Foundation, is working to invalidate city ordinances by arguing that they’re in conflict with looser state regulations. So far, it seems to be working. The group says it’s been able to overturn more than 100 gun-related ordinances this way, most recently in Utah.     Continue reading “Gun-rights group persuading dozens of towns to repeal firearms regs in legal blitz”

After meeting with a “bevy” of big-business groups, President Barack Obama is reportedly considering granting them up to 800,000 additional guest-worker visas via executive actions.

According to the Associated Press, “one of the more popular requests among business and family groups is a change in the way green cards are counted,” which would “essentially free up some 800,000 additional visas the first year.” In addition, “other requests have included removing the requirement that some spouses of U.S. citizens return to their native country for at least three years before they can apply for U.S. residency, as well as extending work permits to the spouses of all temporary H1-B skilled workers.” The Obama administration is also considering granting work permits for low-skilled industries as well.   Continue reading “Obama weighs executive action to bring 800,000 foreign workers into USA”

Having served Washington’s propaganda purposes, the downed Malaysian airliner and the alleged Russian armored column that entered Ukraine and was allegedly destroyed have dropped out of the news even though both stories remain completely and totally unresolved.

Washington’s stooge government in Ukraine has not released the records of communications between Ukrainian air traffic control and Malaysian flight 17, and Washington has not released the photos from its satellite that was directly overhead at the time of the airliner’s demise.   Continue reading “What Russia can do about Ukraine”

eyeI’ve always been a “good” eater. Never have been a lover of “junk food” other than the occasional All American Cheese Burger or Pizza. I love veggies and great Southern home cooking, quite frankly, most any kind of home cooking for that matter.

I just don’t, and will not, eat liver! Why would anyone want to eat a filter? That’s always been a mystery to me.

As I’ve passed the Fifty mark, and having lens replacement surgery, articles like this get my attention. We can get by with most other deficiencies, but eye sight is not one of them.   Continue reading “Eating more of these 5 foods can help improve your eye health”

Banned - Public DomainThere was a blurb mentioning about this a week or so ago. So, this article’s posting, is another warning to those who’re still deciding on a course of action. But just think, if this bill gains traction, which it shouldn’t, but if it does, and passes …….Where would you be then? That is if you haven’t already obtained your armor.

What you’ll encounter is sky high prices on whatever you “might” be able to find. I would highly encourage the reader to look seriously at the Curved Patriot Plates, these can be found at www.maingun.biz   Continue reading “New Bill In Congress Would Ban Private Citizens From Owning Body Armor”

We have never been at war with EURASIA, We have always been at war with East ASIA.

Islamist forces are fighting their way into western Syria from bases further east, bringing forward the prospect of US military intervention to stop their advance. If Isis, which styles itself Islamic State, threatens to take all or part of Aleppo, establishing complete dominance over the anti-government rebels, the US may be compelled to act publicly or secretly in concert with President Bashar al-Assad, whom it has been trying to displace.

Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano has dismissed $2.4 million in speed camera tickets issued over the past month, amid outrage from Nassau residents who received thousands of tickets from cameras at six school locations.

Mangano said cameras at five locations malfunctioned, spitting out tickets on days when school was not in session. Cameras at a sixth location — in Elmont — went operational prematurely.   Continue reading “Edward Mangano dismisses $2.4 million in speed camera tickets”

Some residents of a New Jersey town are unhappy about a decision to rename the local “John F. Kennedy Center” to the “Barack Obama Center.”

The Willingboro Township Council voted earlier this week on the name change and will vote again to add the word “President” in front of the center’s new designation.

According to Philly.com, it was Deputy Mayor Jacqueline Jennings’ idea to update the center’s moniker. “I think that people have a sense of pride about [Obama]. We had so many new people register to vote, people who had never voted before.”   Continue reading “Sorry, Kennedy: NJ town moves to rename JFK center for Obama”

REVERE, Mass. (WHDH) – For days there have been military type vehicles in Ferguson, Missouri where law enforcement agents have been using them to try to keep the peace, but is that doing more harm than good?

There are now calls to look into the so-called militarization of police.

Weapons are easily smuggled through so-called naked body scanners, according to new research released Thursday. The devices are no longer used at airports in the United States but remain in other government facilities worldwide.

The Rapiscan Secure 1000 Single Post “backscatter” scanner – called the “naked scanner” by critics because of the images it produced of those inside – cannot detect a weapon hidden on the side of one’s body, according to the team of researchers from the University of California-San Diego, University of Michigan, and Johns Hopkins University.   Continue reading “Researchers: Tests show TSA ‘naked’ body scanners can be easily fooled”

Scientists believe they have come up with a way to print drugs, using a 3D printer. They say they can create a capsule, which can be swallowed, and it will also allow doctors to alter a dosage according to the specific requirements.

A team of researchers, from the Louisiana Tech University, believes they have come up with a solution to find a biodegradable material, which could be used to contain everyday drugs, as well as chemotherapeutic compounds for those needing cancer treatments. The 3D printer would be able to create the capsule, meaning that medicine only needs to be inserted before it is sealed, Science Daily reports.   Continue reading “3D printing drugs – New technology to revolutionize medical industry”

While the US government touted its “record” settlement reached this week with Bank of America for mortgage fraud that helped fuel the 2008 recession, the details of the agreement indicate yet another slap on the wrist for an offending Wall Street titan.

Bank of America agreed to a $16.65 billion settlement with federal authorities for selling toxic mortgages and misleading investors, the US Justice Department announced Thursday.   Continue reading “Banksters win again: BoA settlement with US govt allows Wall St fraudsters to ‘act with impunity,’ critics say”
