Video shows Columbia officer punching man (WLTX)RT

A cop employed by the Columbia Police Department in South Carolina has been suspended without pay after a video emerged showing the officer repeatedly punching a man who had been lying face-down on the ground.

H&R Block, the largest retail tax preparation firm in the U.S., warns that the Affordable Care Act is “likely to confuse millions of taxpayers who try to tackle their tax returns for 2014,” the Daily Caller reported Monday.

“Now that the Affordable Care Act has made healthcare a tax issue, no one can understand it,” says the tax-preparation giant, which has more than 24 million tax clients worldwide.   Continue reading “H&R Block Warns: ‘No One Can Understand’ Obamacare Tax Code”

Surviving in a world of offensive double standards comes easy for people who lost their moral compass. Most culturally deficient pawns have such limited intellectual capacities and ethical fortitude to apply the same critical standards to zealots, who practice and defend barbarism no matter where it is committed. The narration that masquerades as objective news reporting out of the mass media, acts as a gatekeeper to provide political cover for Zionist protection. If the eternal struggle between Muslims and Jews was the supreme existential conflict, why would Christians take sides, when the purported feud between cousins, drips blood no matter whose hand holds the sword?   Continue reading “Condemn Islamic Terror and Shield Zionist Atrocities”

Should Taking Kids Out of School for Family Vacation Be Illegal?Life Hacker – by Melanie Pinola

In some states, it is illegal for parents to pull kids out of school for “unallowed” reasons, such as family events or vacations, with some parents charged with misdemeanors, given fines, or even threatened with jail time. But is this fair?

From the school’s point of view, these absences can definitely be disruptive and cause unfair additional work for the teacher to get the kids back on track or pre-plan classwork so the students aren’t behind.   Continue reading “Should Taking Kids Out of School for Family Vacation Be Illegal?”

Hahaha! And…now that we’ve had our false flag, cue the insane warmongerer.

By the way, it amazes me how a U.S. Senator can spend so much time outside his country when his job is to handle the issues of the people INSIDE his country. Oh that’s right, I forgot. Zionist Israel IS his country.

BLM Federal Agents at Bundy StandoffBreitbart – by Bob Price

U.S. Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) was appointed chairman of the House Subcommittee for Natural Resources Oversight and Investigations. This subcommittee has, among other responsibilities, oversight of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Gohmert received the committee chairmanship despite his recent historic challenge to House Speaker John Boehner earlier this month.

“It is an absolute privilege to represent the Lone Star State, more specifically east Texas, in the capacity of subcommittee chairman of such a relevant and responsible subcommittee,” Chairman Gohmert told Breitbart Texas. “This administration has hindered the United States’ ability to produce and manage our own vast resources, but I am really looking forward to helping the federal government become more responsible.”   Continue reading “Gohmert to have Oversight on BLM”

China’s Shanghai futures market crashed by the maximum 10 percent, and trading was suspended on January 19th, while Shanghai Composite Index fell by 7.7 percent. Both events were the worst day of trading since shortly after the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy launched the financial crisis six years ago.

Such an event in the U.S. would be epic, because Americans have 70 percent of household wealth in financial assets, but in China, 75 percent of household wealth is in real estate. If a real estate crash took place in China, it could set off the type of “black swan” event to cause an ugly international panic.   Continue reading “Collapse of China’s Real Estate Could Be Next Financial “Black Swan” Disaster”

For the first time on the West Coast, a federal border enforcement helicopter fired warning shots from the air at a boat en route to Catalina Island, bringing an apparent drug smuggling operation to a halt, authorities said Monday.

The shots were fired about 11p.m Saturday from a Blackhawk helicopter operated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Air and Marine using a mounted bolt-action rifle aimed by a crew member, according to a news release from the federal agency.   Continue reading “Border Enforcement Helicopter Fires Warning Shots at Panga Off SoCal Coast; 3 in Custody”

WASHINGTON — At least 50 U.S. law enforcement agencies have secretly equipped their officers with radar devices that allow them to effectively peer through the walls of houses to see whether anyone is inside, a practice raising new concerns about the extent of government surveillance.

Those agencies, including the FBI and the U.S. Marshals Service, began deploying the radar systems more than two years ago with little notice to the courts and no public disclosure of when or how they would be used. The technology raises legal and privacy issues because the U.S. Supreme Court has said officers generally cannot use high-tech sensors to tell them about the inside of a person’s house without first obtaining a search warrant.   Continue reading “New police radars can ‘see’ inside homes”

Luis V. Gutierrez (Helayne Seidman -- For The Washington Post)The Washington Post – by Rosalind S. Helderman

Many members of Congress are reserving their guest passes to Tuesday’s State of the Union address for victims of gun violence to serve as an emotional and visual example of the need for President Obama’s gun-control agenda. But Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez will use his invite to highlight another topic expected to get a mention in Obama’s speech — immigration.

Gutierrez announced Monday that he’s invited Gabino Sanchez, a South Carolina man who is fighting deportation from the United States, to attend the speech. Gutierrez has been working on behalf of Sanchez to help him secure legal residency in the United States, accompanying him to three Immigration and Customs Enforcement appointments. BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) – An estranged Florida couple’s fight over whether to circumcise their son has become a rallying cry for those who denounce the procedure as barbaric.

The dispute between Heather Hironimus, the mother opposing circumcision, and Dennis Nebus, the father favoring it, has sparked a prolonged court battle, protests and the rapt attention of a movement of self-proclaimed “intactivists.”   Continue reading “Fla. boy’s circumcision spurs lengthy legal battle, protests”

50,000 Wall Street jobs cutNew York Post – by John Aidan Byrne

There’s blood on the Street.

In a wild swing of the ax that has shocked many pundits, Wall Street’s biggest banks have slashed nearly 50,000 jobs, and bonuses and expense money are being cut as profit opportunities dry up.

And there’s no easy way out, analysts say, because the Fed’s quantitative easing that once rescued the financial system with trillions of cheap dollars is — at least for now — history.   Continue reading “50,000 Wall Street jobs cut”

Wolf Street – by Wolf Richter

When money was growing on trees even for junk-rated companies, and when Wall Street still performed miracles for a fee, thanks to the greatest credit bubble in US history, oil and gas drillers grabbed this money channeled to them from investors and refilled the ever deeper holes fracking was drilling into their balance sheets.

But the prices for crude oil, US natural gas, and natural gas liquids have all plunged. Revenues from unhedged production are down 40% or 50%, or more from just seven months ago. And when the hedges expire, the problem will get worse. The industry has been through this before. It knows what to do.   Continue reading “Money Dries Up for Oil & Gas, Layoffs Spread, Write-Offs Start”
