WASHINGTON (AP) — A little-known side to the government’s health insurance website is prompting renewed concerns about privacy, just as the White House is calling for stronger cybersecurity protections for consumers.

It works like this: When you apply for coverage on HealthCare.gov, dozens of data companies may be able to tell that you are on the site. Some can even glean details such as your age, income, ZIP code, whether you smoke or if you are pregnant.   Continue reading “New privacy concerns over government’s health care website”

CAIRO (AP) — The Islamic State group threatened to kill two Japanese hostages unless they receive $200 million in 72 hours, directly demanding the ransom Tuesday from Japan’s premier during his visit to the Middle East. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe vowed to save the men, saying: “Their lives are the top priority.”

Abe and other Japanese officials declined to discuss whether they’d pay the ransom for captives Kenji Goto and Haruna Yukawa, though their armed forces generally only operate in a self-defense capacity at home. Their kidnapping also immediately recalled the 2004 beheading of a Japanese backpacker in Iraq, carried out by the Islamic State group’s predecessor over Japan’s involvement in the U.S.-led war there.   Continue reading “Islamic State group threatens to kill 2 Japanese hostages”

Pope Francis is firmly upholding church teaching banning contraception, but said Monday that Catholics don’t have to breed “like rabbits” and should instead practice “responsible parenting.”

Speaking to reporters en route home from the Philippines, Francis said there are plenty of church-approved ways to regulate births. But he said most importantly, no outside institution should impose its views on regulating family size, blasting what he called the “ideological colonization” of the developing world.   Continue reading “Pope says Catholics don’t have to breed ‘like rabbits’”

Our Managing Editor, Javier Manjarres and the Host of The Agenda, Ari Rabin-Havt, were on NewsMaxTV’s, America’s Forum today discussing the recent tax increases as suggested by President Obama as well as the Paris terrorist attacks.

As you may or may not know, Obama is planning to propose tax increases for wealthy Americans. Those taxes include an increase of capital gains taxes and death taxes. Rabin-Havt’s argument for increasing taxes was the economy is better when there is tax redistribution and by taxing the rich more jobs are created.   Continue reading “Former Harry Reid Aide Blames 1996 Atlanta Bombing On Christianity”

China has deployed Dongfeng-21 medium-range ballistic missiles at Mt. Baekdu that target Japan, the official International Herald Leader reported on Sunday.

The newspaper claimed it “analyzed” China Central Television footage of a nuclear arms and missiles corps in training in northeastern China to arrive at the conclusion. But since it is an official publication, the news is more likely to be a government plant than an investigative scoop.   Continue reading “China Deploys Nuclear Missiles at Mt. Baekdu”

Several Octobers back, the tribes of the lower basin arrived at the Klamath Basin Potato Festival in Merrill and, on the banks of the river that has inspired enmity for generations, began cooking salmon on the traditional redwood sticks over madrone embers.

The fire and sticks initially drew puzzled looks from the Oregon ranchers on hand.  “You had people walking by, going, ‘What is going on here?'” says Greg Addington of the Klamath Water Users Association.  “‘These guys are supposed to not like us, right?  What are they doing here, cooking salmon?'”   Continue reading “May the river that runs between us reunite us in the end”

South Florida has had its share of rush-hour drama — a baby needing CPR, a man threatening to jump off an overpass and a man shooting several people on Florida’s Turnpike.

Monday’s commute was another one for the books. Hundreds of people riding dirt bikes and ATVs sped across Miami-Dade and Broward’s major roadways — I-95, US 441, Northwest Seventh Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard — disrupting rush-hour traffic.   Continue reading “3 arrests, 1 crash as ATVs take over Miami roads”

Transportation authorities say southbound lanes of Interstate 75 through Cincinnati will be shut down for days after a closed overpass exit ramp collapsed onto the highway, killing one person and injuring another.

Work was going on Monday night to remove an overhead ramp that had recently been replaced by a new one when it pancaked down on top of southbound lanes several miles north of the Ohio River.   Continue reading “Part of Ohio Interstate to Be Shut for Days After Collapse”

Following the deaths of two French police officers during the January 7 Charlie Hebdoattack and another officer death during an attack the following day, French police are demanding more guns and guns that are more powerful.

The situation during the Charlie Hebdo attack was very lopsided–in favor of the terrorists–because of current policing and arms policy. Breitbart News reported that “unarmed Paris police officers” were forced to flee when confronted with the armed attackers. UK’s Independent reported that “three policemen arrived [at the scene of the attack] on bikes but had to leave because [the attackers] were armed.” A policeman assigned to the duty of body guard to Charlie Hebdo editor Stephane Charbonnier was killed, and an officer on a mountain bike was gunned down.   Continue reading “French Police: Gun Control Isn’t Working for Us”

According to the document you’re about to see, for the last eight years, government scientists have actively engineered viral vaccines designed to alter thoughts and beliefs by infecting the brain and suppressing genetic expression of neurological cells. Dispersal of these vaccines has been tested via high-altitude aerosolized sprays, highway vehicles, the water supply and even the food system.

As you’ll see in the document and video below, the vaccine was intended from the start to be deployed against civilian populations, and 600 strains of infectious viruses were tested on human subjects. One of the transmission vectors documented in the testing exploited an influenza strain to spread the mind-infecting virus as a pandemic.   Continue reading “600 strains of an aerosolized thought control vaccine already tested on humans; deployed via air, food and water”

Many of us choose what we eat very carefully, or at least dedicate our minimum attention to it. But when it comes to drinks, especially alcoholic beverages, we do little to make the best decisions for our health. Which is a HUGE mistake. All the work for your body can be ruined in a weekend out. While foods and non alcoholic beverages are required to list their ingredients and are monitored by the FDA, beer does not belong in either. Alcohol industry had lobbied for years to avoid labeling its ingredients. Some to protect its recipes, but most – to hide harmful ingredients.   Continue reading “8 Beers That You Should Stop Drinking Immediately”

When Mitch McConnell goes to a Republican retreat, he takes it literally. Forget about those silly outdated arguments that ours is a government of the people, he’s got big money donors to please and they want amnesty. We can all just shut up and sit down, do as we’re told by our Congressional masters and accept their dictates.

The Republicans are proving there is no difference between themselves and the traitorous leadership of the Democrats. They are slow-walking amnesty in a theatrical presentation for our consumption designed to give them the cover they need as they commit treason and betray both the people and their sworn oaths to the Constitution.   Continue reading “Mitch “Con Man” McConnell Signals Senate Sell Out, Surrender On Amnesty and Violation Of Constitution”
