Lovely that so many students stood around and watched, and even took video. Sadly, nothing new in school or society.

The kid who came in to defend the blind student has been hailed by a hero. By the school? Not so much   Continue reading “Report: Student Who Came To Blind Kids Defense Kicked Off Football Team”

Etowah County, AL — A disturbing pattern is emerging out of Alabama that highlights the budding field of authoritarianism as the state ramps up its kidnapping of babies and arresting of mothers — for no reason.

In August of 2014, Casey Shehi gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Despite being born four weeks premature, little James was exceptionally strong. However, the celebration of James’ birth was quickly turned into a nightmare when the state got involved.   Continue reading “Alabama Cops Using Draconian Law to Steal Babies and Lock Up their Mothers at Alarming Rate”

New Jersey Democrats unsuccessfully attempted on Thursday to override Gov. Chris Christie’s veto of a gun-control bill when most GOP supporters of the legislation decided not to buck the presidential candidate.

The legislation would have prevented people with a documented history of mental illness from expunging that record to buy a gun.   Continue reading “Lawmakers Fail to Override Christie Veto”

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — The state Supreme Court has reversed itself and put back into place an older standard for warrantless searches by police during car stops.

Police can now search a vehicle without a warrant if they have probable cause to believe there is contraband or evidence of a crime as long as the circumstances that led to the probable cause are unforeseeable and spontaneous.   Continue reading “State high court reverts back to old warrantless search rule”

Most of the questions I receive on my website AskaPrepper.com are about EMP’s and Faraday Cages.

What I realized is that there are a lot of EMP myths generated by movies and even some internet sources. The situation is so bad that the United States Air Force Space Command commissioned Bill Nye to make a video for the Air Force called “Hollywood vs EMP” (which is not available to the public). It seems that the Air Force wanted to make sure that Hollywood fiction would not confuse those who must deal with real EMP events. (Source)   Continue reading “EMP Myths and Facts. NEW YORK (AP) — The training session asked workers how they would respond to troubled people — a drug user, an abuse victim or someone with bipolar disorder — that they might encounter on the job.

They weren’t doctors or therapists, and their employer, a wide-ranging youth outreach organization called The Door, isn’t only a counseling center. But mental health how-tos are part of everyone’s training, whether they’re career advisers or basketball coaches, and reaching out to offer help is part of everyone’s job.   Continue reading “NYC plan trains lay people as mental health screeners”

The motor industry has been accused of withholding a report that reveals US cars are substantially less safe than European vehicles – for fear that the findings would hamper the drive to harmonise safety standards as part of the controversial Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) deal.

America’s best and most reliable video ducumentarian of war-crimes and of lies by the U.S. Government is now being hit by a new Youtube policy of blocking income to, or even obliterating, videos that Youtube determines to be about “Controversial or sensitive subjects and events, including subjects related to war, political conflicts, natural disasters and tragedies, even if grahic imagery [unsuitable for children] is not shown.” (That’s from the statement by Youtube.)

He asserts that, “This change is essentially an attack on independent journalists who cannot afford the video and sponsorship infrastructure used by the corporate media.”   Continue reading “Youtube Escalates Censorship”
