ROSEBURG, Ore. — A week has passed since J. J. Vicari huddled underneath a desk while gunshots exploded in the classroom next door. Now he is thinking about guns. Not about tightening gun laws, as President Obama urged after nine people were killed at the community college here. But about buying one for himself.
“It’s opened my eyes,” said Mr. Vicari, 19. “I want to have a gun in the house to protect myself, to protect the people I’m with. I’m sure I’ll have a normal life and never have to go through anything like this, but I want to be sure.” Continue reading “Common Response After Killings in Oregon: ‘I Want to Have a Gun’”
Former US national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski’s assertion that Washington should retaliate against Moscow for Russian airstrikes against US assets in Syria is a “stunning admission” of the role America has played in the Syrian crisis, an American scholar in Wisconsin says.
Dr. Kevin Barrett, a founding member of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance, made the remarks in a phone interview with Press TV on Tuesday while commenting on Brzezinski’s latest article about Russia in the Financial Times. If you get all of your news from mainstream media and cable TV infotainment, then you’re probably unaware that glyphosate (the active ingredient in RoundUp herbicide) has been linked to cancer. The World Health Organization stated in March that glyphosate is a probable carcinogen, and California will soon label it as such.
The MSM addict will also be unaware that long-term exposure to glyphosate—even tiny amounts deemed “safe” by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)—can lead to liver and kidney damage. Continue reading “Newly Unsealed Documents Reveal EPA & Monsanto Always Knew Round-Up Was Deadly Toxic”

Leaders of NATO openly threatened a military response against Russian forces in Syria Tuesday, after a series of incidents involving Russian warplanes operating along the Syrian-Turkish border.
Speaking in Brussels, in the course of a state visit to several Western European countries, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claimed that Russian fighters had violated his country’s air space. “An attack on Turkey means an attack on NATO,” he said, although he stopped short of citing Article Five of the North Atlantic Treaty, which calls for an armed response by NATO to any attack on a member country like Turkey. Since the death of noted entertainer Joan Rivers almost a year ago, the routine use of endoscopes has come under increased scrutiny.
