In what appears to be a first for a serious presidential contender, Hillary Clinton’s campaign is going after five comedians who made fun of the former Secretary of State in standup skits at a popular Hollywood comedy club.
A video of the short performance, which is less than three minutes, is posted on the website of the renowned club, Laugh Factory, and the Clinton campaign has tried to censor it. Besides demanding that the video be taken down, the Clinton campaign has demanded the personal contact information of the performers that appear in the recording. A man who was convicted of poisoning children on his son’s youth football team in 2000 is now in charge of an entire city’s water supply in Nevada.
Jerome M. Breland is the interim utilities operations manager for North Las Vegas, but state officials are investigating a complaint against him.
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the complaint sent to the Division of Environmental Protection argues that Breland should not have a water operator’s certificate because of the nature of the crime he committed. Two people have been killed and at least one was wounded in an attack at the building in Tel Aviv, which houses RT’s local bureau. The stabber has been captured with slight injuries.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — A Texas inmate was executed Wednesday for setting a fire that killed his 18-month-old daughter and her two young half-sisters at an East Texas home 15 years ago.
Raphael Holiday, 36, became the 13th convicted killer put to death this year in Texas, which carries out capital punishment more than any other state. DALLAS (AP) — The lone survivor of an attack that left six dead at an East Texas campsite told authorities that the suspect had drinks with the victims before producing a gun and firing on them, according to an arrest warrant released Wednesday.

JERUSALEM (AP) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked the United States to allow convicted spy Jonathan Pollard to return immediately to Israel upon his upcoming release from a federal prison, a pro-government Israeli newspaper reported Thursday.
According to the Israel Hayom daily, Netanyahu has been lobbying Washington to let Pollard travel to Israel instead of completing his five years’ parole in the United States. China has signed a contract to buy 24 Sukhoi Su-35 multipurpose fighter jets from Russia, becoming the first foreign buyer of the advanced warplane, according to manufacturer Rostec. The deal, estimated to be worth $2 billion, is a significant boost to Russia’s arms exports.
“The long negotiation on the Su-35 sale to China has been completed. We have signed a contract,” Sergey Chemezov, the head of the Russian state-owned high-tech giant Rostec, told Kommersant business daily. Newly released CCTV footage of the terrorist attack on one of the restaurants in Paris has revealed the level of horror and devastation faced by the victims. One woman is seen miraculously escaping from immediately in front of the gunman’s possibly jammed rifle.

The operation reportedly targeted Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the alleged mastermind of the terrorist acts, previously thought to have been in Syria, as well as Salah Abdeslam and a potential ninth assailant.

USGS indicates to news that a 7.0 Solomon Islands earthquake started just after 10:31 am PST Tuesday. The quake was shallow. Officials tell news that it started only 37 miles below sea level.
