SPRINGDALE, Wash. (AP) – Authorities say a log cabin that a family reported stolen off its foundation has been found in rural northeast Washington.
Stevens County Sheriff Kendle Allen says deputies following a tip found the cabin Thursday morning about 10 miles from its original location. Cops are 25 times less likely to shoot unarmed blacks than whites or Hispanics, according to a little-known study which makes the South Carolina police shooting of an unarmed, fleeing black man even more egregious than before, if that’s even possible.

A resident of Commerce Township, Michigan, was sentenced to serve 18 months in prison to be followed by one year of supervised release for criminal contempt, announced Acting Assistant Attorney General Caroline D. Ciraolo of the Justice Department’s Tax Division.
In July 2014, Doreen Hendrickson was convicted of criminal contempt following a federal jury trial in Detroit. Hendrickson violated an injunction involving federal tax obligations issued by U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmunds of the Eastern District of Michigan in May 2007. Two Iranian vessels have arrived in the Gulf of Aden, off the coast of Yemen, where Saudi Arabia is on a bombing campaign against anti-government Houthi rebels.
The Alborz destroyer and Bushehr logistics vessel are on a patrol mission in the Gulf of Aden, south of Yemen, and the Red Sea, according to Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari. He says the ships will “provide [safety for] Iran’s shipping lines and protect the Islamic Republic of Iran’s interests in the high seas,” Press TV reports.
