Two prominent House committee chairs are “deeply disappointed” in Federal Communications Commission chairman Tom Wheeler for refusing to testify before Congress as “the future of the Internet is at stake.”

Wheeler’s refusal to go before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday comes on the eve of the FCC’s vote on new Internet regulations pertaining to net neutrality. Our message has been clear from the beginning: the FCC has a role to play, but its role must be firmly bounded.

This is the most unique Taxi in the world. If you happen to be in Russia, you can now take a ride in military style. The taxi’s armor protects passengers from bullets and shrapnel and is being called the “safe taxi”.

ICRM – infantry combat reconnaissance machine – have been on patrol in St. Petersburg since the beginning of the year. These ICRMs are real armored vehicles with a spinning tower and an artificial large-caliber machine gun on top. The armor is one-centimeter thick and can protect passengers from bullets or shrapnel. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadim Pristayko said that Ukraine is preparing for a “full-scale war”. According to him, Kiev is “no longer afraid to enter a conflict with a nuclear country”

Pristayko told about Kiev’s preparation for the military conflict in his interview for the Canadian radio station CBC on February 21. Pristayko emphasized that Kiev “doesn’t want to scare anyone”, but that “it is preparing for a full-scale war”. Pristayko noted that the Ukrainian authorities closed the border with Russia. The Shale Energy Industry suffered another big blow as Chevron terminated its last European operations in Romania due to poor exploration results and ongoing anti-fracking protests.  Chevron also suspended all operations in Poland last month and cancelled shale gas agreements in Ukraine and Lithuania.

Medicinal and even recreational marijuana has become available in several states over the last year. Now, a company from Colorado, where weed is legalized, is working with rabbis from New York to create a certified Kosher edible, that can be supplied to patients who follow strict dietary laws.

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (AP) — Four Wesleyan University students were arrested Tuesday in connection with about a dozen hospitalizations among people who took a party drug known as Molly.

The students, including one from Brazil, were arrested on assorted drug charges and were suspended from the university. Eleven Wesleyan students, some of whom had attended a rave music show on Saturday night, received medical attention over the weekend, police said. BEIRUT (AP) — Islamic State group militants have moved a large group of Christian hostages to a city they control in northeastern Syria, while they continue to battle Kurdish and Christian militiamen for control of a chain of villages along the Khabur River, activists and state-run media said Wednesday.

Hassakeh province which borders Turkey and Iraq has become the latest battleground for the fight against the Islamic State group in Syria. STEPHENVILLE, Texas (AP) — A Texas jury has rejected the insanity defense of a former Marine in the deaths of famed “American Sniper” author Chris Kyle and another man.

The situation on the line of contact is generally calm. The Novorussian forces are withdrawing their heavy weapons according to schedule while the junta forces are, by most reports, not or, not much. The excuse for these delays is that “the necessary conditions have not been created”. In reality, the problem is that Poroshenko has very little control over the various armed forces. Apparently, the regular armed forces do more or less obey him, and since these are the most heavily armed, there is some hope that they will eventually withdraw.
