Attorney General Loretta Lynch testified Wednesday that the Justice Department has “discussed” taking civil legal action against the fossil fuel industry for “denying” the “threat of carbon emissions” when it comes to climate change.

During Lynch’s testimony at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) said that he believes there are similarities between the tobacco industry denying scientific studies showing the dangers of using tobacco and companies within the fossil fuel industry denying studies allegedly showing the threat of carbon emissions.   Continue reading “AG Lynch Testifies: Justice Dept. The non-profit public interest research center, Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), obtained documents that reveal the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intentionally misled the public about the safety of full body scanners (1).

EPIC settled an appeal for their FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) case against DHS and finally obtained body scanner radiation fact sheets. Prior to this appeal, EPIC states that the DHS’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) “withheld test results, fact sheets, and estimates regarding the radiation risks of body scanners used to screen passengers at airports.”    Continue reading “Documents Show TSA Cover-Up of Body Scanner Cancer Risk”

Attorney General Loretta Lynch indicated Wednesday that the law doesn’t require the Justice Department to pursue criminal charges against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email system, even if the FBI recommends criminal charges.

Lynch was asked in a hearing by Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, what her department would do if the FBI were to recommend that step. “If the FBI were to make a referral to the Department of Justice to pursue a case by way of indictment and to convene a grand jury for that purpose, the Department of Justice is not required by law to do so, are they — are you?” Cornyn asked.   Continue reading “Lynch indicates DOJ not required to charge Clinton”

Shortly after the undercover cops left, plainclothes NYPD Detective Jon Gladstone and an unidentified police sergeant flanked the vehicle on both sides. According to NYPD First Deputy Commissioner Benjamin Tucker, Gladstone and his partner identified themselves as cops when the van suddenly went into reverse, crashing into a parked police car behind them.   Continue reading “While Trying to Kill 2 Unarmed Suspects, NYPD Cop Shoots His Fellow Officer”

The Economic Collapse – by Michael Snyder

We just got more evidence that global trade is absolutely imploding.  Chinese exports dropped 25.4 percent during the month of February compared to a year ago, and Chinese imports fell 13.8 percent compared to a year ago.  For Chinese exports, that was the worst decline that we have seen since 2009, and Chinese imports have now fallen for 16 months in a row on a year over year basis.  The last time we saw numbers like this, we were in the depths of the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s.  China accounts for more global trade than any other nation (including the United States), and so this is a major red flag.  Anyone that is saying that the global economy is in “good shape” is clearly not paying attention.   Continue reading “Are You Kidding Me? Chinese Exports Plunge 25.4 Percent Compared To Last Year”

After LGBT protests targeted a private Catholic academy in Rhode Island for its policy against catering to crossdressing students, the school now says it is open to reversing its rules and making “reasonable accommodations” for children who want to be treated as members of the opposite sex.

According to the current school handbook, Mount Saint Charles Academy in Woonsocket “is unable to make accommodations for transgender students” and therefore “does not accept transgender students nor is MSC able to continue to enroll students who identify as transgender.”   Continue reading “LGBT Lobby Bullies Catholic School Into Accommodating Transgender Students”

As everyone knows, there are many questions surrounding Scalia’s death, but none of them – in my opinion – are the right ones. I DO believe that Scalia was murdered, but it wasn’t an assassination like many people are assuming. Scalia was brought down by his own behavior – and he is definitely not going to be the only one.    Continue reading “Judge Scaly’s Sordid Demise”
