WASHINGTON (AP) — North Carolina’s top public health official acted unethically and possibly illegally by telling residents living near Duke Energy coal ash pits that their well water is safe to drink when it’s contaminated with a chemical known to cause cancer, a state toxicologist said in sworn testimony.

The Associated Press obtained a copy of the 220-page deposition (pdf) given last month by toxicologist Ken Rudo as part of a lawsuit filed against Duke by a coalition of environmental groups. The nation’s largest electricity company has asked a federal judge to seal the record, claiming its public disclosure would potentially prejudice jurors.   Continue reading “Top N. It’s been some years since Islanders have seen a black helicopter crisscrossing the Island, its crew scanning Martha’s Vineyard woodlands and backyards for homegrown cannabis. Last Tuesday and Wednesday the black bird was back.

Massachusetts National Guard personnel, operating under a grant from the DEA, and in conjunction with mainland State Police, confiscated 392 plants that were sighted from above. Four of those plants belonged to Edgartown resident Paul Jackson, an 81-year-old former cancer patient who grows the plant for medicinal tea.   Continue reading “MA State Police, National Guard seize elderly cancer survivor’s pot plants”

It’s a good thing cars can’t experience emotions or one specific 2014 Jeep Cherokee would be terrified every time security pros Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek come near it. That’s the vehicle they remotely hacked in 2015; now they used the Jeep to show how an attacker can control the steering, accelerator and brakes while the Jeep is driving at high speeds.

Granted, this time they were in the vehicle with a laptop physically connected to the CAN network via the diagnostic port. They reverse-engineered the electronic control unit (ECU) firmware, basically knocking it offline, so they could send fake CAN messages to tell the car what to do, such as slam on the brakes, jerk the steering wheel or hit the gas.   Continue reading “They’re back! Car hackers take control of Jeep’s steering and braking”

The Millennium Report

For those of you that are stressing about the collapse of the U.S. dollar and the Federal Reserve, please take faith that initial measures have been taken to insure a not-so-hard landing when the Federal Reserve Note will be retired out of circulation, being replaced by notes printed and backed solely by the U.S. Treasury. If you have been putting your money under the mattress for the last few years, you will want to take the time to read this article so that you can replace the old fiat currency of the Federal Reserve Note (FRN) with new currency. We believe that those who do not start taking action will find in the near future that their fiat currency is unredeemable. This is particularly true of the billions of dollars that are held in cash outside of the United States, most of which will not be redeemable once the transition is made.   Continue reading “New U.S. Currency Already in Our Money Supply”

A government report discovered the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) illegally stockpiles gun owners’ personal information.

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), the go-to federal oversight agency, conducted an audit of ATF and found it does not remove certain identifiable information, despite the law explicitly mandating it do so. GAO conducted reviews for four data systems, and concluded at least two of ATF’s systems violated official protocols.   Continue reading “The ATF Is Illegally Hoarding American Gun Owners’ Personal Information”

Marc Ching recently made headlines — and amassed a large, supportive following — for his multi-country trips to Asia, where he rescues dogs who have been subjected to torture.

He’s seen dogs who have been boiled and burned alive and others who have had their eyes sewn open and their “faces stapled back.” Still others have been beaten with bats while hanging from ropes.   Continue reading “Meet the Man Who Almost Died Four Times Saving Over 1,000 Dogs From Torture”

Khizr Khan, the Muslim Gold Star father that Democrats and their allies media wide have been using to hammer GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump, has deleted his law firm’s website from the Internet.

The Statist-Marxists (self-termed “Progressive Democrats”) are by no means finished hacking away at the branch of the Tree of Liberty bearing the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.  The right of a free citizenry to keep and bear arms is a right the Marxist-Statists absolutely cannot tolerate.  We have seen it all throughout history: Hitler’s Germany, the Soviet Union, Cambodia…all of the totalitarian states must take the firearms from the hands of their citizens in order to make them subjects.   Continue reading “The Attack on the Second Amendment is not Finished”

Four old cowboys are having a discussion about what is the fastest thing in the world.

First cowboy says “I believe it’s thinking, ’cause when you prick your finger or touch a flame, the pain instantly becomes thought and hits the brain”.

Second cowboy says “Well, I think it’s blinking. When you blink and open your eyes again, you immediately see everything. Nothing is changed”.   Continue reading “Mexican Special”

Secretary of State John Kerry admitted Monday that Russia has failed to meet his Aug. 1 deadline for playing a more constructive role in Syria, and warned that he now sees Russia’s actions in Syria as “very troubling.”

Kerry warned Russia back in May that it has to help the U.S. and other allies start moving Syria toward a political transition by today.
