In its push to convince Congress to take up a comprehensive immigration overhaul in 2017, the advocacy group founded by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and NewsCorp chief executive Rupert Murdoch is betting on the old adage, “All politics is local.”

The Partnership for a New American Economy, which Bloomberg, Murdoch and others established in 2010, published 51 reports Wednesday — one for each state plus the District of Columbia — outlining the local economic effect of the immigrant community. The goal is to persuade Congress that fixing an immigration system widely seen as dysfunctional is a crucial step toward a flourishing economy.   Continue reading “Bloomberg, Murdoch-Led Immigration Group Has Eyes on 2017”

Saving a bundle on car insurance wasn’t enough for one NYPD officer, who was busted by the feds for torching his Range Rover and two other cars to collect at least $34,000 in reimbursement checks from GEICO, federal authorities said Wednesday.

Carlos Becker promised to pay off two men if they helped him crash and burn his gray 2008 Range Rover Sport in September 2012, which law enforcement discovered with broken windows in Laurelton, Queens, court papers allege.   Continue reading “Cop busted for torching his cars for insurance payouts”

Illegal aliens have never had more incentives and ability to vote in our elections as they do this cycle. After being told by the globalist elite they’re illegal entry into the country is without consequence, helps rather than hinders American workers, and unites the national culture, any existing moral qualms of further violating the law, such as by voting, have been thoroughly scrubbed away. Former president Bill Clinton all but ensured this in his speech at the DNC Convention last week.   Continue reading “Bill Clinton’s call for mass voter fraud should be condemned”

In a little-watched Sunday political infomercial announcing a rare openly-partisan line from a putative law enforcement agency, ATF Deputy Director Thomas Brandon told CBS News correspondent Richard Schlesinger that the agency demands more gun control laws, especially a confiscation-enabling gun registry.

The point of the show seemed to be that Brandon and the ATF, like Schlesinger and CBS, are campaigning for gun control and for pro-gun-control politicians this election year.   Continue reading “ATF: We Demand a 100% Registry”

Health officials claim the the chemical to be sprayed, an organophosphate neurotoxin called Naled, is “safe” to breathe and no one really needs to take any special measures while they are being sprayed like bugs (although it has been “recommended” that people with allergies stay inside).   Continue reading “Florida To Spray Residents Like Bugs Over Zika — With A Chemical That Ironically Reduces Fetal Brain Size In Studies”

220px-Adolfo_Nicolas,_Sup._GénAdolfo Nicolás Pachón SJ (born 29 April 1936), is a Spanish priest of the Roman Catholic Church. He is the thirtieth and current Superior General of the Society of Jesus, the largest religious order in the Roman Catholic Church.

He has announced that he has met with Pope Francis, the world’s Jesuit provincials (regional leaders), and with other Jesuits in positions under him at the headquarters, and he and they have begun to plan for an eventual general congregation that will replace him once he resigns, as he indicated he would prefer to do, at age 80. Until the resignation of his predecessor, Peter Hans Kolvenbach, it was not the norm for a Jesuit Superior General to resign; they, like the great majority of the Popes up until Benedict XVI, generally served until death. However, the Jesuit constitutions include provision for a resignation.[1]   Continue reading “Collectivist Target”
