LIMA, Peru (AP) — It was a national scandal. Peru’s then-vice president accused two domestic intelligence agents of staking her out. Then, a top congressman blamed the spy agency for a break-in at his office. News stories showed the agency had collected data on hundreds of influential Peruvians.
Yet after last year’s outrage, which forced out the prime minister and froze its intelligence-gathering, the spy service went ahead with a $22 million program capable of snooping on thousands of Peruvians at a time. Peru — a top cocaine-producing nation — joined the ranks of world governments that have added commercial spyware to their arsenals. Operation Choke-point is the scandal-ridden Department of Justice’s initiative aimed at punishingmaking business difficult for those industries they don’t like. Payday lenders (ok, these can be dicey but are still better than loan-sharks), coin dealers (precious metals throw a wrench in their fiat currency scam), and firearms manufacturers and dealers (because…guns are icky and stuff) have all been targeted by the Obama’s highly-politicized DOJ. Since the Administration’s frontal assaults on the Second Amendment have not yielded the results they want, they have resorted to Executive Branch action to try to move the ball. That’s one of the many revelations from a 56-page report released late Sunday titled “From Russia with Money: Hillary Clinton, the Russian Reset, and Cronyism” by the non-partisan government watchdog group, the Government Accountability Institute (GAI). On Saturday, Israeli media published unique images of U.S. Marines training with Israel Defense Forces and Israeli Air Force elite units in the Negev desert in Israel. The joint exercises took place last week and were meant as a preparation for operations against the Islamic State and other jihadist terror groups.
One joint exercise was dubbed “CAYA Green,” meaning “Come when you get the green light.” The drill included a landing operation from sea and involved Israeli Air Force and Navy special forces and American Marines. The Shayetet 13 unit of the Israeli Navy stormed the beach to secure it for the U.S. Marines, who landed under stormy weather conditions. PHILADELPHIA – The National Security Agency (NSA) has “all” of Hillary Clinton’s deleted emails and the FBI could gain access to them if they so desired, William Binney, a former highly placed NSA official, declared in a radio interview broadcast on Sunday.
Speaking as an analyst, Binney raised the possibility that the hack of the Democratic National Committee’s server was done not by Russia but by a disgruntled U.S. intelligence worker concerned about Clinton’s compromise of national security secrets via her personal email use. I leave the Army for good in September of this year. My chain of command has been shell shocked that I am going through with it. Two years ago when I first came to grips with what was happening and resolved to no longer be a part of it, there was derision and even an officer telling me that voicing my opinions about the state of the US economy and its moral failings could be considered a violation of the UCMJ for conduct “prejudicial to good order and discipline.”

This is no essay nor carefully thought out extrapolation of how America is dying or to be truthful: is already dead and has been for a long time. It is not uncommon in this household to sit around the table at dinnertime and listen to music on the radio; today they played a Huey Lewis song: Power of Love. For those who do not remember this was the main theme song for a movie: Back to the Future. This movie is quite good in that we get to see the stark contrast of a post WW2 America and the “modern” America of the late 80’s. It was a very true depiction of the difference in how Americans acted and how they maintained their communities, in this case the town of “Hill Valley.” Continue reading “Death is Knocking for America”
