The United States is preparing for all options to counter the growing threat from North Korea, including launching a “preventive war,” national security adviser H.R. McMaster said in an interview that aired Saturday on MSNBC. The comments come after North Korea carried out two tests of intercontinental ballistic missiles in the past month and after the president said he has been clear he will not tolerate North Korea’s threats to attack the U.S. with nuclear weapons. Illegal immigrant families received nearly $1.3 billion in Los Angeles County welfare money during 2015 and 2016, nearly one-quarter of the amount spent on the county’s entire needy population, according to data obtained by Fox News.
The data was obtained from the county Department of Public Social Services — which is responsible for doling out the benefits — and gives a snapshot of the financial costs associated with sanctuary and related policies. The fix is in. Did you know, Congress only works 33 percent of the year?
The base salary for all rank-and-file members of Congress is $174,000, more than triple the median household income of the United States. In exchange for that generous salary, members of Congress work one out of three days. Continue reading “The Best Part-Time Job in America”
WEB Notes: The modern era has brought about much confusion. Those either wicked or foolish enough to confuse our children about their identity know if they work on the children, future generations will be that much easier to fool. Isaiah 5:20 tells us, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Preschoolers know if they are a boy or a girl. Boys and girls typically like different things, you can see it in them. We all know this, it is common sense, but some want to confuse our children. What did Christ say about this?

The owner of a Dunkin’ Donuts plans to meet with two police officers who say they were denied service at his franchise in Brooklyn so that he can apologize in person, according to a police union and a statement from the global doughnut company.
The two officers, who are members of the 73rd Precinct’s detective squad, were in plain clothes but had their badges and pistols on their belts when they entered the Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins location at 1993 Atlantic Ave. on Sunday, according to the Detectives’ Endowment Association, a police union. Survival Saturday is a round-up of the week’s news and resources for folks who are interested in being prepared.
This Week in the News
This week, it seems inevitable that we are headed straight to war. When Trump was elected, the fact that he seemed committed to getting along with Russia gave many people hope that a global conflict could be averted. That and the repeal of Obamacare seemed like the light at the end of the tunnel of a contentious election. Continue reading “Is World War 3 Inevitable?”
Since Wikileaks began releasing classified CIA documents back in March as part of its “Vault 7” series of leaks, purportedly the largest document dump in the agency’s history, it has publicly unveiled programs with innocent sounding names like “Marble”, “Scribbles” and “Archimedes” that the agency employs to help execute its operations, or to cover its tracks.
On Thursday, the group released the 19th installment in its series by publishing a series of documents detailing how the agency uses a custom-designed hacking exploit called “Dumbo” to destroy, or manufacture, evidence during field operations, according to a Wikileaks press release.

The US government has declared 1.8-million acres of California land (roughly three times the size of Rhode Island) as ‘critical habitat’ for the Sierra Nevada Yellow-Legged Frog under the Endangered Species Act. A group of California farmers and ranchers, who expect to be regulated out of business by timber and grazing restrictions, are suing the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
Tiny frogs and toads used to swarm over the Sierra Nevada. Now, the government says nearly 2 million acres of land needs to be preserved to prevent them from going extinct. Continue reading “California Ranchers Revolt as the Feds Set Aside 2-Million Acres for a Frog”

When thinking about the online giant Amazon, a quote from the old animated television series Pinky and the Brain comes to mind. Pinky asks Brain, “Gee, Brain, what do you want to do tonight?” to which Brain replies, “The same thing we do every night Pinky – try to take over the world!” From eBooks to streaming television, groceries to cloud products, Amazon certainly appears set on taking over the world, one market sector at a time. Their latest target seems to be all things healthcare related, including everything from pharmaceutical sales to virtual medical records. They’ve even set up a secret skunkworks lab called 1492 to explore all the opportunities offered by this lucrative sector. The use of biometric identification is becoming a real-time case study in how the public is incrementally conditioned to accept the total erosion of privacy for supposed convenience and security.
As I’ve been covering over the last several months, a 15-year-old mandate from the federal government to implement biometric ID for airline travel is finally being implemented at various airports throughout the United States. Meanwhile, countries like Australia and the UK also have airport biometrics programs rolling out, with Australia seeking to make it a requirement nationwide by 2020. The UK has gone even one step further and has been testing a system to be used on trains as well, also with a target date somewhere around 2020. BETHELEHEM, West Bank (AP) — Two murals showing an oversized President Donald Trump have appeared on Israel’s West Bank separation barrier, just yards from where the elusive artist Banksy decorated a hotel earlier this year.
The new drawings popped up on the edge of Bethlehem, the Palestinian city where the barrier largely consists of a wall of towering slabs of concrete. Continue reading “2 huge Trump murals appear on West Bank barrier”
