Google News took the unusual step of confirming its use of the imageboard site 4chan as a news source on Monday. The admission followed Google News’ propagation of an incorrect name as a potential shooter in the tragic Las Vegas shooting on Sunday night.

A reporter from tech-news site The Outline posted the full text of an e-mail he received from an unnamed Google representative. Reporter William Turton said that he had not discussed any “attribution terms” before receiving Google’s e-mail, which confirmed that the Google News service was bombed into automatically reposting a false shooter’s name.   Continue reading “Google admits citing 4chan to spread fake Vegas shooter news”

I’ve gotten a few comments lately asking why I write about current events. I’ve gotten every variation from “I follow you for prepping information. Why is there so much news on your website?” to “You’re an idiot. Why don’t you stick to canning?”

Before I hurry back to the kitchen where I belong, there’s a short answer and a long answer. Here’s the short one: Prepping and current events are inextricably entwined.”

If you only wanted the short answer, there you have it. Thanks for stopping by.   Continue reading “Why Prepping and Current Events are Inextricably Entwined”

If you have never heard of Virtual Block Watch (VBW) don’t worry, you soon will.

At first glance, you might think it’s like law enforcement’s Neighborhood Watch but you’d be wrong.

VBW’s are law enforcement’s latest national surveillance program that encourages the public to use surveillance cameras spy on one another.

Why do we need another national spying program? Don’t we already have DHS’s ‘See Something Say Something’ spying program?   Continue reading “‘Virtual Block Watch’ wants every home to have four surveillance cameras to spy on the public”

3 weeks ago, on 9/11 a mysterious 4chan user who went only by “John” made a series of at the time overlooked posts. He warned users to stay away from any gatherings of large groups of people in the Vegas or nearby Henderson areas. Stating that he had insider knowledge of what he referred to as a “high incident project” that was set to occur soon.   Continue reading “4chan Warned About Vegas 3 Weeks Early: Possible Financial and Political Gain Behind Mass Murder”

Over the past decade, such fees have risen 55 percent. The average cost of such a transaction is now over $4.50.    Continue reading “ATM Fees Are Out of Control”

Jails and prisons continue to sacrifice what few physical interactions prisoners have with loved ones on the outside to phone service provider Securus. The New Orleans Advocate reports a local jail is the latest in a long line of correctional facilities to ban in-person visits, replacing them with Securus communication software and hardware.

Inmates at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna will no longer be able to receive in-person visits from relatives and friends beginning Oct. 10, when the facility will begin a “video visitation” program similar to one put in place at New Orleans’ lockup a couple of years ago.

Yahoo on Tuesday said that every single Yahoo account was affected by a data breach that took place in 2013.

In 2016, Yahoo disclosed that more than one billion of about three billion accounts had likely been affected by the hack. In its disclosure Tuesday, the company said all accounts were likely victimized.

Yahoo included the finding in a recent update to its Account Security Update page, saying that it found out about the wider breach through new intelligence obtained during the company’s integration into Verizon Communications. Outside forensic experts assisted in the discovery, the company said.

America is rightfully outraged over the slaughter of innocent concertgoers in Las Vegas two days ago, and the political Left immediately exploited the tragedy to call for gun control — stripping all citizens of their Second Amendment rights while monopolizing the ownership of guns in the hands of the government.

This is the predictable emotional reaction from historically illiterate people who lack intellect. They believe that concentrating all firearms in the hands of government will somehow save lives. Yet history shows us that governments routinely commit mass murder and genocide against disarmed populations. In just the last century or so, governments have murdered 262 million disarmed people, according to university research (see the list below).   Continue reading “Gun control vs MEDICATION control: FDA-approved prescription drugs kill more Americans each day than the entire casualty count from the Las Vegas Mandalay massacre”

The Daily Sheeple – by Dawn Luger

The mainstream media has been known to propagate and lie to the public for profits. In fact, CNN admitted that much this summer on video. But what they also do, is conveniently leave out pertinent information in order to tell you what you’re supposed to think happened.

It isn’t really a big secret that the mainstream media uses propaganda.Look no further than the “Russian election hacking” narrative to find evidence of such. But one YouTuber has now released some audio from the Las Vegas shooting that he describes accurately as “riveting.”   Continue reading “Riveting Audio Details From The Las Vegas Shooting That The MSM Won’t Share”
