A new proposal being considered by Washington State lawmakers aims to strengthen distracted driving laws.
The bill, sponsored by State Rep. Jessyn Farrell, D-Seattle, and Sen. Ann Rivers, R-La Center, would further clarify the existing law which makes it illegal to text while driving. Washington (AFP) – Russian hackers did not break into the computers of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign or active accounts of the Republican National Committee, FBI chief James Comey said Tuesday.
Comey told a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on Russian interference in the US election that the Russians, in addition to hacking the Democratic National Committee, did break into some state and local Republican campaign systems during last year’s campaign. There’s already a lot of suspicion surrounding the Ft. Lauderdale airport shooting.
For one, the man arrested for the the shooting claims he was hearing voices and the CIA was controlling his mind, which sounds insane except that so many other mass shooters in recent years have told very similar stories.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — An unrepentant Dylann Roof was sentenced to death Tuesday for fatally shooting nine black church members during a Bible study session, becoming the first person ordered executed for a federal hate crime.
A jury deliberated for about three hours before returning with the decision, capping a trial in which the 22-year-old avowed white supremacist did not fight for his life or show any remorse. Siskiyou County, Cal.- A contract employee with Pacific Power died Monday morning after an accident involving a tree branch.
The Oregon man was with a crew on State Route 89 near Mt. Shasta City when the accident happened.

Vaccination skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he will oversee a presidential panel to review vaccine safety and science at the request of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump in a move likely to reignite debate despite now-debunked research that tied childhood immunizations to autism.
“President-elect Trump has some doubts about the current vaccine policy, and he has questions about it,” Kennedy, who has raised questions about the safety of vaccines, told reporters following his meeting with Trump in New York on Tuesday. “He asked me to chair a commission on vaccine safety and scientific integrity. For most dyed-in-the-wool liberals, the election was going to be business as usual.
They viewed Hillary Clinton as one of their own, a kind person with extensive political experience who would continue to guide the nation in the direction set by other kind and decent leaders—Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. It was all good. Hope, change, help, share and care, sympathy for the less fortunate, giving back, on the road to a better world. Hundreds of law enforcement officers searched for a second day on Tuesday for the man suspected in the fatal shooting of a policewoman in Orlando, Florida.
