The Trump Justice Department filed a lawsuit Tuesday night against California, saying three recently-passed state laws were deliberately interfering with federal immigration policies.

It marked the latest legal and political confrontation with the nation’s most populous state, which the federal government says has repeatedly stood in the way of its plans to step up enforcement actions in the workplace and against criminal aliens.   Continue reading “DOJ sues California over ‘interference’ with immigration enforcement”

The Anti-Defamation League has stated that social media companies YouTube, Twitter and Facebook may use the group’s “Online Hate Index” to detect hate speech on their platforms.

The ADL published a video on their YouTube page recently outlining the use of their new “Online Hate Index.” The video features Brittan Heller, the director of the ADL Center for Technology and Society. Heller explains the goal of the new index is to “help tech platforms better understand the growing amount of hate on social media, and to use that information to address the problem.” The index will reportedly use machine learning, artificial intelligence, and social science to identify trend and patterns in so-called “hate speech.”   Continue reading “YouTube,Twitter and Facebook May Soon Use ADL’s ‘Online Hate Index’ to Detect ‘Hate Speech’ on Platforms”

The White House is gearing up to request that law enforcement and security agencies be allowed to track and shoot down civilian drones, Bloomberg reported. An official told the publication that the effort has been underway for months and it involves a number of US agencies, but didn’t specify many details of the plan.

It’s possible to track, take control of or take down drones using their radio-control signals, but wiretapping rules and aviation regulations prevent law enforcement from using current tools to do so, according to the official. The news emerged during the FAA’s third annual Unmanned Aircraft Systems Symposium in Baltimore this week.  Continue reading “White House wants to let law enforcement disable civilian drones”

Rep. Danny K. Davis (D-IL) is pushing legislation to place a 20 percent tax on guns and a 50 percent tax on ammunition.

The legislation is titled the “Gun Violence Prevention and Safe Communities Act of 2018.”

The act amends the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, so as to require a 20 percent tax on “pistols,” “revolvers,” “firearms (other than pistols and revolvers),” and “any lower frame or receiver for a firearm, whether for a semiautomatic pistol, rifle, or shotgun that is designed to accommodate interchangeable upper receivers.”  Continue reading “Democrat Rep. Why is this important? Why do we need to know anything about “assault” rifles?

It’s important to be able to combat liberal hysteria. Knowledge is power, and if you’re the one in the room who knows this stuff, the rest will be forced to shut up and listen, or leave, lest they reveal their ignorance. There is nothing more important in discussions like these than to arm oneself with indisputable facts.  Continue reading “Time for a Lesson on the Assault Rifle”

As our nation continues to grapple with the repercussions of the Parkland, Florida school shooting of Valentine’s Day, an in-depth conversation regarding the power of our Second Amendment needed to be had.

On the left, they are calling for a complete and total repeal of the all important right.  Meanwhile, conservative Americans are hoping to galvanize the verbiage that protects the entire populace from tyranny.   Continue reading “Keep And Bear: The Movie We Need Now More Than Ever”

The mainstream media is now claiming that it’s “bullying” to correct a gun control activist when they use the wrong nomenclature while discussing the guns they know almost nothing about. Apparently, being wrong is perfectly acceptable and it’s “mean” if you educate an indoctrinated fool.

The Washington Post‘s literary masterpiece titled “The NRA And Its Allies Use Jargon To Bully Gun Control Supporters” literally tells you all you need to know about the overall direction our country is headed. It’s more acceptable to lobby for laws on things you know absolutely nothing about, but it isn’t ok for those who are educated to point out the incorrect usage of terms by those who desperately want to write the laws controlling others.   Continue reading “Fake News MSM Claims Correcting Gun Control Activists Is ‘Bullying’”

The following is adapted from a speech delivered on January 25, 2018, at Hillsdale College’s Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship in Washington, D.C., as part of the AWC Family Foundation Lecture Series.

Over the past year, facts have emerged that suggest there was a plot by high-ranking FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) officials in the Obama administration, acting under color of law, to exonerate Hillary Clinton of federal crimes and then, if she lost the election, to frame Donald Trump and his campaign for colluding with Russia to steal the presidency. This conduct was not based on mere bias, as has been widely claimed, but rather on deeply felt animus toward Trump and his agenda.   Continue reading “The Politicization of the FBI”

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Forget the idea of “seeing is believing.” New technology is making digital media manipulation easier than ever.

The result? Phony videos that are popping up across the web.

One video making the rounds is of former-President Barack Obama delivering a speech that he never actually made. It’s part of a video trend circulating the internet called Deepfake, which has made it tougher to tell what’s real and what’s not.  Continue reading “Alarming Advances Made In Digital Media Manipulation”

SAN FRANCISCO — Uber has been sending self-driving trucks on delivery runs across Arizona since November, the first step in what promises to be a freight transportation revolution that could radically reshape the jobs of long-haul truckers.

After testing its technology earlier in 2017, Uber began contracting with trucking companies to use its own autonomous Volvo big rigs to take over loads as they traverse the state, it disclosed.    Continue reading “Uber trucks start shuttling goods across Arizona — by themselves”

Seattle, WA — In the wake of the Florida shooting, politicians, police, and activists alike are scrambling to find ways to prevent the next tragic attack. Without hesitation, last week, notorious gun-grabber Senator Dianne Feinstein, sat next to Donald Trump’s and likely salivated over his remarks as he called for the removal of due process and to “take the guns first.” However, this practice of taking guns without due process is already underway in the land of the free.

Citing Nikolas Cruz as the reason for advocating the removal of due process, the anti-gun activists in D.C. are claiming he should’ve had his guns taken which would have prevented the tragedy. Sadly, however, they are ignoring the fact that he was accused of multiple felonies—and should’ve never been able to purchase a gun in the first place—but law enforcement failed to act on any of it.  Continue reading “It Begins: Seattle Cops Conduct Nazi-Style Gun Confiscations: No Laws Broken, No Charges, No Arrests”
