A man from Freetown, Mass., was arrested on Monday night for keeping an 86-inch flat-screen TV that was mailed to his home by mistake, according to Boston 25 News.

Nick Memmo, 35, told the outlet what occurred at his home the night of his arrest: “They surrounded the house and knocked on the door with flashlights coming through all the windows. A recent investigative report uncovered a disturbing series of experiments conducted by the United States government in which thousands of cats were killed and fed to other cats. Scientists working for the U.S. government killed an estimated 4,000 cats during the experiments, according to the report released by the watchdog group White Coat Waste Project (WCW).

The experiments involved feeding tissue from cat hearts, brains and tongues to other cats. Similar experiments conducted at the same U.S. Department of Agriculture lab in Maryland included feeding dog remains to cats as well as injecting cat remains into mice. During his high-profile visit to Israel, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said President Trump could be a present-day Queen Esther, a figure in Hebrew and Christian biblical stories who is said to have thwarted a plan to exterminate the Jewish people. Pompeo said Mr. Trump’s tough stance on Iran gave him the distinction.

A Catholic priest in Texas was arrested Thursday after he allegedly molested a woman while giving her last rites.

The Rev. Gerold Langsch, was charged with assault by contact following the encounter in October. As part of continued protest efforts by truck drivers affiliated with various groups — Truckers Stand As One and the Facebook-based Black Smoke Matters — a few dozen truck drivers participated in on-highway, convoy-style protests in Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia this weekend.

The Ohio-based protest appears to have been the largest of the four separate initiatives. Local media outlets estimate that about 40 trucks participated in the so-called “slow roll” convoy, though organizer Scott Reed, a former owner-operator based in the state, estimated that more truckers were present and participating than the reported 40. There is a saying attributed to the French banker Nathan Rothschild that “Give me control of a nation’s money and I care not who makes its laws.” Conservative opinion in the United States has long suspected that Rothschild was right and there have been frequent calls to audit the Federal Reserve Bank based on the presumption that it has not always acted in support of the actual interests of the American people.
