Nearly a thousand protesters took to the streets of Brooklyn to demonstrate against the NYPD after a spate of violent arrests on the subway and over its plans to put more officers on the beat to catch anyone who skips paying the fare.

US troops are reportedly back in military bases in northeastern Syria which they had previously evacuated ahead of Turkey’s military action against Kurdish forces in the area.

The tree was 25 to 30 feet above the cut. The cut was approx 12 feet from the ground, standing on the roof. The tree was 15 inches at the cut.

The tree leaned over the cabin east northeast so I chose to use a hinge cut. I have been on this site throwing my two cents in for a few years now, so I’m going to speak my mind about a few things.

As far as the New Testament goes, in my teachings, I have been called everything from “legalist” to liar, but I thought of something tonight that I want to share with my brothers and sisters. Has it dawned on any of you that if AMERICA had adhered tightly to New Testament doctrine  that we would still have our laws as they were written? We would have outed the communist before now. James Cromwell, who has been in more than 100 films and television shows, was arrested on Texas A&M’s campus Thursday after authorities said he disrupted a Board of Regents meeting.

According to Texas A&M University Police Department spokesman Lt. Bobby Richardson, Cromwell, 79, was taken into custody shortly after 1:30 p.m. The New York resident was escorted from the Memorial Student Center’s Bethancourt Ballroom, where a Texas A&M University System Board of Regents meeting had just started. Richardson said several people — including Cromwell — believed to have been affiliated with the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, were at the meeting.
