For weeks, Biden administration officials have scrupulously avoided using the word “crisis” to describe the migrant surge on the southern border.

But White House press secretary Jen Psaki did exactly that during a press briefing Thursday.   Continue reading “White House press secretary slips up, calls border migrant surge a ‘crisis’”

Russian President Vladimir Putin challenged President Joe Biden to a debate following a fracas over comments made by Biden earlier this week in agreeing that the Russian leader is a “killer.”

“I’ve just thought of this now,” Putin told Russian state TV. “I want to propose to President Biden to continue our discussion, but on the condition that we do it basically live, as it’s called. Without any delays and directly in an open, direct discussion. It seems to me that would be interesting for the people of Russia and for the people of the United States.” Continue reading “Putin Challenges Biden to Live Debate Following ‘Killer’ Remark”

As American academia finishes transitioning into an even more intellectually repressive nightmare, talented professors are quitting and the value of a college education has plummeted.

Ivy League schools naturally set the tempo for less prestigious colleges. Gender ideology and critical race theory begins to metastasize once the factories churning out tomorrow’s elites institutionally embrace such rubbish.

Mayor de Blasio on Thursday said cops should “confront” people accused of “hurtful” behavior — even if the behavior doesn’t rise to the level of a crime.

Asked if the NYPD and city could be doing more to thwart the troubling surge in hate crimes against Asians, Hizzoner suggested the warnings could be a last resort. Continue reading “NYPD should ‘confront’ hateful conduct even if it’s not a crime: de Blasio”

Joe Biden is the very real, very alive, very not-that-last-guy president of the United States. Sadly, an unfortunately large number of Americans somehow still do not believe any of that to be the case, as evidenced earlier this week when The Hill tweeted a 53-second-long clip of President Biden speaking with reporters on the White House’s South Lawn before boarding Marine One. During the course of the brief exchange, Biden can be seen walking towards the press gaggle before pausing in front of large, extended boom mics to answer a couple questions, at which point his hand gestures appear to strangely overlap the mics (macabrely referred to in the trade as “dead cats”) in a way that suggests some kind of shoddy CGI or green screen work.  Continue reading “Tell your uncle that Joe Biden wasn’t green-screened into that video”

Heretofore ignored by the legacy press and mainstream media, in February, federal authorities invaded a neighborhood in the Flathead Valley with militarized police and terrorized its occupants with what appears to be Waco-level tyrannical overreach.

In 1992, a federal siege occurred in Boundary County, Idaho, at a location known as Ruby Ridge.  The eleven-day siege lasted from August 21-31 and resulted in the deaths of one U.S. Marshall, and the wife and son of Randy Weaver, the target of the siege.  This event captured the attention of the nation. To secure the land around this seven-person home composed of three adults and four children, the federal government saw fit to send in hundreds of federal agents, as well as associated vehicles and air support. Earlier this year, the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance received an unusual inquiry from a state lawmaker: Could campaign funds be used to purchase bulletproof vests, gas masks and pepper spray?

It was a question the independent state agency, which regulates political spending and hands down advisory opinions on campaign finance issues, had never been asked before. Continue reading “Panic buttons and bulletproof vests: Fearful lawmakers stock up on protection”
