Lilburn, GA — Families and friends gathered this month to commemorate the one year that had passed since their friend and loved one was gunned down by Georgia Tech campus police officer Tyler Beck. Now, after a year of waiting for justice, the family is saying that they have waited long enough.
The investigation has taken over a year, despite dramatic video that was uploaded to Facebook showing the Georgia Tech police officer shoot and kill a fourth-year engineering student from Lilburn, Georgia. TRIPOLI, LIBYA — A month of violent in-fighting in Libya’s capital has prompted the “official” government of Libya to call for UN intervention, just seven years after the 2011 NATO intervention laid waste to the country and plunged it into a state of chaos from which it has never recovered.
In late August, the Libyan capital of Tripoli became gripped by in-fighting between rival militant factions, factions that all technically operate under Libya’s UN-recognized Government of National Accord (GNA). The fighting allegedly began when one of the armed groups, the Kaniyat, launched an attack on Tripoli after media reports had emerged detailing the lavish lifestyles of other GNA armed groups, like the Tripoli Revolutionaries’ Brigade. Last Thursday morning, a deranged individual wishing to cause harm to innocent people walked up to her job at a Rite Aid warehouse and began shooting people. Breaking news alerts filled the internet as #Aberdeen trended on Twitter and the internet buzzed with people trying to find out who would do such a thing. However, shortly after the shooter was identified, the news — unlike most mass shootings — quickly faded from headlines and fell out of the news cycle. New Iberia, LA — Shocking surveillance footage, which was subpoenaed by federal investigators, shows a savage and violent attack on Louisiana man by a sheriff’s deputy and his K9 partner. The footage was so deeply disturbing that 6 years after it happened, the deputy responsible has finally been brought to justice.
Former sheriff’s deputy David Prejean pleaded guilty in February to the assault and is only just now being sentenced. Prejean was a K9 sergeant with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office and had been called to the jail to assist with a shakedown, according to prosecutors. The United States House of Representatives is preparing to vote on a bill that looks like legislation that focuses on combating human trafficking on the surface—but some liberty-minded lawmakers are warning that the bill is using language from the PATRIOT Act to increase unconstitutional government spying.

A five-time deported illegal alien accused of sexually assaulting seven women, including raping many of them and beating them, has been sentenced to life in prison.
In 2016, Breitbart Texas reported that 27-year-old illegal alien Nicondemo Coria-Gonzales had been arrested after being accused of raping and beating multiple women. Nobody in the United States Senate knows whether Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s accusers are telling the truth. And yet, quite a few of its members—all Democrats—have already decided that they are telling the truth. Connecticut’s Richard Blumenthal and New York’s Kirsten Gillibrand, for example, have declared that they believe the allegations of Professor Christine Blasey Ford, though she has yet to testify. Roughly a week after Axios published a leak claiming that President Trump was preparing to launch a new “broadside” against China that would tie “Russia and China” together, the substance of this mysterious hint has finally been revealed.
During remarks before the UN Security Council (the US, one of five permanent members, assumed the chairmanship this year) Trump accused China of launching election interference efforts similar to those purportedly orchestrated by Russia. There’s no doubt that technology can be wonderful. Anyone experiencing car trouble will tell you that having a cell phone can literally be a life saver. But it’s actually not necessary for millions more cell towers to be installed in front of homes and everywhere else so we can all have cell phone service.
