In his latest column, former U.S. Treasury official Paul Craig Roberts says that George W. Bush and Barack Obama have established the precedent that impeachment is a “dead letter law,” with both Congress and the Judiciary accepting their impotence in the face of a tyrannical executive. As an illustration of how this state of affairs came about, Roberts cites a communication he received from Professor Francis A. Boyle of the University of Illinois Law School.
Boyle relates how, on the eve of the Iraq War in March 2003, Rep. John Conyers, the senior Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, convened an emergency meeting of 40 or more of his top advisors, mostly lawyers. Boyle continues:

Some people are so determined to disarm Americans that they are willing to interfere with the electoral process and the republican principle of representative government.
St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson and Rebecca Morgan, a member of the Missouri chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, have filed suit asking a judge to prevent Missouri election officials from sending out absentee ballots that include a constitutional amendment protecting the right to keep and bear arms in the Show Me State. Even the most cursory reading of history immediately reveals that imperial powers are free, if not uniquely entitled, to engage in massive crimes against humanity without fear of retribution or legal punishment.
Examples of this essential truth abound. So Belgian killers likely were not deterred from expanding their genocidal campaign in the Congo out of fear of legal action from the Congolese. British imperialists gave no thought to the idea of Indians bringing English generals to trial for their acts of mass murder and French colonialists intensified their economic exploitation of Haiti, secure in the belief that their brutal deeds would go unpunished. In fact, in the case of Haiti the only “crime” punished was when Haiti’s slave population liberated themselves, an act of disobedience for which the island’s inhabitants were subjected to harsh indemnity payments.

Most people recognize the many health benefits of eating vegetables. From clearing your plate of green beans at the dinner table as a child to loading up on raw veggies at a salad bar, the benefits are well-known and widely accepted. But fewer people know how fermented vegetables can improve their health – and improve your health they can!
Commonly known fermented veggies include sauerkraut and miso. But you can ferment a wide variety of vegetables for health. Continue reading “Eating Fermented Foods to Boost the Immune & Digestive System”
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) said it can’t provide emails sent between 2009 and 2011 that were requested by congressional investigators because of hard drive crashes.
The agency said that emails stored on dead drives were lost forever because its email backup tapes were recycled every six months, and employees were responsible for keeping their own long-term archives. Continue reading “The IRS Had a Contract With an Email Backup Company”
WASHINGTON — The House Ethics Committee on Friday ordered Representative Don Young, Republican of Alaska, to pay a fine of almost $60,000 for using campaign money for personal purposes and for accepting “impermissible gifts.”
After a 14-month investigation that examined 25 trips that Mr. Young took between 2001 and 2013, the committee found that 15 of those trips — to hunting lodges with his family and staff — were “inappropriate.” It also found that Mr. Young, 81, had failed to report certain gifts on his financial disclosure forms. I sent this in to Henry, but in the few hours meantime the Craigslist ad had been removed. Is it a false, false flag, with the ad intended for diversion? I cannot know, but since the ad has been removed in such a timely manner, it deserves a heads up to all in Houston, particularly Trenchers, and especially to those intending to attend the July 4th downtown (Eleanor Tinsley Park) celebration with its expected attendance of 100,000.
I did not save the ad from http://houston.craigslist.org/tlg/4501039849.html, but cathinfo.com did: Continue reading “Government Emergency Drill Houston July 4th”

Government contractor is seeking several individuals to act as role players in the simulation of a “mass casualty exercise”. Role players will participate in an exercise that will replicate civilians in the area that have been injured during a large scale disaster. Role players will be medically treated at one of many triage centers setup for the simulation as a training exercise for medical units to evaluate civilians who have been injured during a disaster. Over the last couple weeks I have been glued to the true story “The Lone Survivor,” where four of America’s finest Navy SEALs of “Operation Red Wings” were sent to do some reconnaissance concerning terrorists in Afghanistan.
Right from the start it seemed very clear that the special op was cursed. All the way from herdsman coming directly into their particular position where they were discovered (they could not terminate the compromise of being discovered because of Rules of Engagement), to being surrounded by 200 Taliban while they were waiting and expecting to be extracted but could not (their radio signal was too weak to reach headquarters). Then there was the downing of two Chinook helicopters (two apache helicopters would have given them cover, but they were grounded). All circumstances around this operation seem very strange both from within and from without. Tragically, three of the four SEALs were killed. What began to catch my attention was when Marcus Luttrell said about the enemy, “They knew exactly where we were.” Continue reading “The New World Order & The ‘Order Out of Chaos’ Globalists”
California’s drought conditions have worsened over the past week with the percentage of the state suffering from the highest category increasing, the National Weather Service said Thursday.
“Exceptional” drought conditions have spread in Central California since a week ago, weather officials said. Areas in Northern California have also moved into this category since last week, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor. Continue reading “California’s drought getting even worse, experts say”

Ukraine’s new president declared a one-week cease-fire Friday in the fight to put down a pro-Russia rebellion, starting a process the West hopes will pressure Moscow to rein in separatists it has been accused of supplying with weaponry.
The Kremlin responded coolly, however, calling the cease-fire an ultimatum rather than an invitation to talk. “The plan is missing the key element—a proposal to start negotiations,” it said in a statement. Continue reading “Ukraine Declares One-Week Cease-Fire in Fight With Pro-Russia Rebels”
