On multiple occasions over the last few years, President Barack Obama has reminded voters that he won’t appear on the ballot again. Indeed, our long national nightmare will come to an end in 674 days. Presidents, of course, tend to engage on policy and politics even after they leave the White House. There’s no reason to believe Obama will be any different. Continue reading “Ex-Clinton administration official floats Obama’s name for the Supreme Court”

Earlier this month, General David Petraeus pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge related to his decision to pass on classified secrets to a biographer who also happened to be his mistress. The Justice Department passed on recommending jail time for the former CIA director and instead asked that the architect of the Iraq Surge simply pay a $40,000 fine.
The appearance of favoritism offered to the American general has created more problems for the administration than it resolved. Continue reading “Despite criminal charge, David Petraeus emerges as key White House advisor on Iraq”
The Barak-8 is one of the most advanced air defense systems in the world today. A source in the program told i-HLS the system approaches full operational status.
The joint Israeli-Indian project began in 2006. India needed a defense system for its navy ships and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) offered the Barak-8. The project is led by the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMoD) with IAI as the prime contractor and another Israeli company, Rafael, as a subcontractor. Social issues are local issues. From a constitutional point of view, social issues are none of the federal government’s business. The Republican Party is the party of social issues. Was it not slavery, a social issue, that spurned the creation of the Grand Ol’ Party?
The topic of the homosexual agenda has a lot to do with the Constitution. Marriage is a State issue, and federal interference is unconstitutional. My opinion has always been “why is government involved in marriage in the first place?” The two times marriage licenses (or should we call them “just in case there’s a divorce” licenses) appeared, during reconstruction after the American Civil War, and during the 1930s under FDR, they emerged so that the government could control marriage, and tax marriage. In what some may call a deliberate sequence of predictive programming, there is a little-remembered scene in the show Barney Miller, where an arrested man is trying to warn people of the true nature of the Trilateral Commission – founded in 1973 by David Rockefeller ostensibly to “foster” global political cooperation. (Ironically, the arrested man who broke into the Trilateral Commission office is played by Jeffrey Tambor who is more recently known for his role in Arrested Development.) The Environmental Protection Agency has its eyes on pollution from backyard barbecues.
The agency announced that it is funding a University of California project to limit emissions resulting in grease drippings with a special tray to catch them and a “catalytic” filtration system.
The $15,000 project has the “potential for global application,” said the school.
The school said that the technology they will study with the EPA grant is intended to reduce air pollution and cut the health hazards to BBQ “pit masters” from propane-fueled cookers. Continue reading “Backyard burger and wiener roasts targeted by EPA”

A new study shows that there are too damn many new studies. And it’s not just a funny headline: There are real-world implications.
The study, which surely must be aware of its own irony, found that researchers are experiencing “attention decay” because of the glut of academic papers. Just like we’re overwhelmed by the bounty of the internet, researchers are forgetting important studies because they’re swimming in nonessential ones. Continue reading “New study determines there are too many studies”
Edward Klein has a bombshell report at The New York Post about Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. According to Klein, it was President Obama’s closest adviser Valerie Jarrett who leaked the details of her email scandal to The New York Times, but did so through sources outside of the White House so it couldn’t be traced back to her. Knowing what we do about Jarrett, this certainly seems plausible. Continue reading “Was Valerie Jarrett The One Who Leaked Hillary’s Email Scandal?”

Proof that USDA serves biotech interests while betraying the people. The world has gone completely mad. While the average American mindlessly obsesses over whether or not a stupid image-gone-viral of a dress depicts white and gold colors or black and blue, the federal agency tasked with protecting the integrity of our food supply has indiscriminately green-lighted a new genetically modified organism (GMOs) for human consumption that threatens to unleash a Pandora’s box of destruction on both the apple industry and public health.
