Nineteen people were killed on Tuesday and up to 120 injured when a Moscow underground train derailed between two stations during the morning rush hour, the Emergencies Ministry said.

Over the weekend, human smugglers led South Texas Border Patrol agents on a harrowing chase spanning five towns, which ultimately netted a staggering 23 illegal immigrants.
A witness alerted agents after seeing people being loaded into a truck near the border town of Weslaco.

Hundreds marched through Washington DC and rallied at the Capitol on Sunday to protest plans for a new liquid natural gas (LNG) export facility in Maryland. Local residents fear possible environmental risks.
The plan is to build a new terminal at the Cove Point, Maryland LNG facility, which could be used for exporting fuel to Asia. Monday on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” the VP of the Border Patrol Union, Chris Cabrea told host Martha MacCallum “a lot of our guys” are coming down with diseases.
“Coming off the long journey they have been subjected to and then diseases some agents are contracting. NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) – The U.S. Marine Corps. has enlisted the help of a four-legged devil-dog of sorts.
A robotic mule known as the Legged Squad Support System, or LS3, is taking part in military exercises in Hawaii.

Police had been watching the man in a home. He was suspected in an armed robbery of an ice cream store, according to police.

Mlive.com reports that protesters gathered in the high school’s parking lot more than one hour before the start of the meeting. Michigan State Police, Tuscola County Sheriff’s deputies, and Vassar Police officers were parked outside the school to provide security during the meeting.
Though Wolverine is a social service agency for Michigan’s children, it is reportedly reviewing a contract from the Chicago-based anti-poverty organization Heartland Alliance to maintain a shelter for male unaccompanied minor teens. After an initial 60 teens, aged 12-17 years arrive, the number could increase to 120, said Derrick McCree, Wolverine’s senior vice president.
