A black swan event is a metaphor that describes an event that comes as a surprise and has major consequences.

Today, such an event occurred causing the Swiss franc to soar as much as 30% and gold to jump to 4-month highs in chaotic trading after The Swiss National Bank (SNB) abandoned the cap on the currency’s value against the euro.   Continue reading “A Black Swan Event Rocks Gold And The Swiss Franc Today”

Did you know that you should not put a bottle of Round Up in your municipal trashcan for pick up? If that is the case, then why on Earth would we put that same chemical trash into our bodies?

Yep – Round Up, Monsanto’s favorite herbicide and one of their best-selling products, is considered a Hazmat issue for local cities and towns. It isn’t supposed to be disposed of in your regular trash pick-up. According to the Department of Public Works, “Employees can be harmed by their toxic fumes.”   Continue reading “Sprayed on our Food, Round Up Deemed ‘Toxic Household Waste’ by Trash Collectors”

Officials on the Pacific Coast are puzzled by the deaths of hundreds of small, white-bellied seabirds since October.

The birds, called Cassin’s auklets, are mostly gray in color and have blue feet. Media reports say they have been steadily washing ashore all along the Pacific Coast, from Northern California to the coast of the state of Washington, and that, naturally, is concerning wildlife and other experts because thus far they have yet to determine an exact cause for the massive deaths.   Continue reading “Over 1,200 seabirds mysteriously die on Pacific Coast”

(Reuters) – Electronics retailer RadioShack Corp <rsh.n> might prepare to file for bankruptcy protection by next month, the Wall Street Journal reported citing people familiar with the matter.

Texas-based Radioshack is in talks with a private-equity firm that could buy its assets out of bankruptcy, the Journal reported, citing sources.

The talks may not produce a deal, and RadioShack may opt for other debt-restructuring options that do not include a sale, the Journal said.   Continue reading “RadioShack Is Preparing To File For Bankruptcy”

I was in the middle of working on an article covering real U.S. economic stats versus manipulated statistics when the Charlie Hebdo shootings took place. And though I knew the implications of the event would be far-reaching, I was originally undeterred from my financial subject matter. I had already covered in previous articles the inevitability of ISIS attacks on Europe and America, including the “warnings” of Saudi Arabia in August of last year that jihadists would target the EU within months and the U.S. a month later.   Continue reading “What Will You Do When Government Tyranny And Terrorism Work Hand In Hand?”

Portland area radio host, Carl Wolfson, was a featured speaker at a “gun violence prevention summit” in January, 2014, presented by Ceasefire Oregon. During the event, he mentions an encounter with Oregon state Senator Betsy Johnson, a pro gun democrat who was the swing vote that stopped new gun restrictions. Mr. Wolfson says he wanted to lobby for her support of a background check bill, and says he “couldn’t tell which way she was leaning, because of her walker.”   Continue reading “Liberal Radio Host Makes Fun Of Pro Gun Senator’s Disability”

Commuters getting off a ferry one recent morning walk past the homeless camped out on a pedestrian bridge in Seattle. Seattle Times – by Daniel Beekman

When passengers step off the ferries from Bremerton and Bainbridge Island and head into downtown Seattle, homelessness is just about the first thing they see.

People sleep every night on the Marion Street pedestrian bridge, a narrow span that connects the Seattle ferry terminal at Colman Dock with First Avenue. Many camp right under the Alaskan Way Viaduct, which runs above the middle section of the bridge.   Continue reading “Seattle mayor wants to allow and regulate 3 new tent cities”

Ex-Marine Joseph Hickman said Guantanamo was a “bad dream” he just wanted to forget.News Au

A FORMER Guantanamo Bay guard has spoken for the first time about what he claims was a CIA murder of detainees, covered up as a triple suicide.

Army Staff Sergeant Joseph Hickman was on guard at the Cuban prison camp on the night they died, and calls the official version of events “impossible”.

“They would have had to all three tie their hands and feet together, shove rags down their throats, put a mask over their face, made a noose, hung it from the ceiling on the side of the cellblock, jumped into the noose and hung themselves simultaneously,” the ex-Marine told Vice News in an explosive video interview.   Continue reading “Guantanamo guard: ‘CIA killed prisoners and made it look like suicide’”

South Carolina state senator Larry Martin (R) has successfully pushed a bill through subcommittee that bans the possession of guns and ammunition not only for people who caused “bodily injury” via a domestic disturbance, but those who “could have” as well.

According to the text of Martin’s bill—S. 3—persons who commit the offense of “criminal domestic violence in the second degree” cannot “ship, transport, or receive a firearm or ammunition.” The offense of “criminal domestic violence in the second degree” applies not only to those who cause “moderate bodily injury to their household member” but those who create a situation where “moderate bodily injury to their household member could have resulted.”     Continue reading “SC Gun Ban Covers Domestic Disturbances Where Harm ‘Could Have’ Been Done”

Congress got back to work last week.  And within the next month, the congressional GOP leadership is expected to move a “bait and switch” scheme that could seriously impact the Second Amendment.

The scheme is called “fast track.”

In “fast track,” Congress passes a bill which delegates to Barack Obama the legislative authority to do anything he wants — ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING — so long as he includes it in a “trade agreement.”     Continue reading ““Fast Track” to Delegate Enormous Power to Obama”

At least 3 people were killed in an anti-terror raid in Belgium Thursday that one official confirmed was “jihadist related,” and a man suspected of selling guns used in last week’s terror attacks in France was being detained in another part of the country, according to multiple reports.

The deadly raid was in Verviers, in eastern Belgium, according to the Telegraph. Belgian public television channel RTBF reported that the public prosecutor’s office confirmed the deaths of two suspects and arrests of “several” more. The station said there were no casualties among the security forces involved and that several people had been arrested. Federal prosecutors were quoted as saying there had been a police operation near the center of the city of 55,000, some 70 miles from Brussels.   Continue reading “3 jihadists reportedly killed in counter-terrorism raid in Belgium”

Obama Administration Tries To Intimidate Banks Into Breaking Ties With Gun Manufacturers & Distributors

I don’t think ethical people deal with intimidation as a method to achieve success.” – Dominique Moceanu

When a child wants a cookie before dinner, but his mother tells him “no,” he goes to his father to ask the same question. It’s called subversion, and we learn it from a very early age. We learn that if one authority prevents us from getting what we want, we can find other routes in order to subvert that authority. The 2nd Amendment is an authority with incredible power, but there are those who despise it, and want it repealed. Continue reading “Obama Turns Banks against Gun Businesses”

Millions of people are infatuated by World Wrestling Entertainment  (formerly known as the World Wrestling Federation).  One of my nephews, Michael, is one of them.  He was recently watching WWE’s weekly Monday show called “Raw”.  It didn’t take long to spot some of the blatant propaganda being presented to the masses that tune in every week and/or attend these events live.

Part of wrestling story lines sometimes revolve around factions formed among some of the superstars.  Whether they are “faces” (good guys) or “heels” (bad guys), is irrelevant, there is always a message behind the story.   Continue reading “NWO propaganda in the WWE”

U.S. President Barack Obama.(Reuters / Kevin Lamarque)RT

President Barack Obama was never the most popular commander-in-chief among the military, but a new poll shows his support has all but cratered. Meanwhile, his general approval rating moved upwards among the public, but still remained below 50 percent.

According to a new poll conducted by the Military Times, only 15 percent of active-duty service members approve of President Obama’s performance as commander-in-chief. That’s quite the drop from 35 percent in 2009. Meanwhile, 55 percent of respondents said they disapproved, up from 40 percent in the same time span.   Continue reading “Obama’s approval rating crashes among troops, rises with public”
