Here we are in 2015 a full year after they announced a temporary “closure” of the HF (high frequency) facility in Gakona, AK — and we come to find out that the only thing that changed up in Alaska is the NAME of the facility.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The AK-12 and A-545 will be produced by the Kalashnikov and Degtyarev plants starting this month and will become part of the Ratnik standard issue soldier outfit slated to enter service this coming spring, Izvestiya newspaper reports, citing Defense Ministry sources in Moscow.

Late last month Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov said that the Ratnik “future soldier uniform” would feature the AK-12 rifle, which had initially performed better than its A-971 rival, developed by the Degtyarev plant. The Degtyarev designers made all the necessary amends, resulting in the A-545, which is an updated version of the A-971 and was eventually selected alongside the AK-12 to run the final test scheduled for the end of this year.   Continue reading “Russia to Unveil New Kalashnikov Assault Rifle”

Dozens of Washington state foster parents say they’ll give up their licenses to care for kids from birth to age 2 rather than get flu shots mandated by a new regulation.

Some foster parents said they object to the influenza vaccine because they believe it is “experimental” and poses potential side effects. Others said they simply don’t like being told to inoculate themselves and their biological kids, and they worry that the regulation will worsen a growing shortage of foster families.   Continue reading “Dozens of foster parents to forgo licenses over forced flu shots”

Klamath County, Oregon – Commissioners don’t want the federal or state government to tread on the Second Amendment rights of the citizens of Klamath County. But at the same time, at least two commissioners don’t want to tread on the sheriff’s ability to enforce the law and uphold the Constitution.

At their regular Tuesday meeting, the commissioners spent an hour debating a few words in a resolution letter telling the Oregon Legislature the county does not support any future laws that could restrict the citizens’ right to bear arms.   Continue reading “Putting the state on notice – Commission backs right to bear arms”

The Obama Administration has officially renewed the War on Drugs. The Fiscal Year 2016 budget plan released earlier this week, shows, despite the illusion of the puppet show in the nation’s capital working to reform failed drug policies, the master is hell bent on spending more money than ever to protect America against the wrath of controlled substances.

Although the President, at times, displays a progressive attitude in regards to making changes to the drug laws in the United States, this sentiment was not represented on Monday when he requested $27.6 billion to combat the domestic drug war – nearly $2 billion more than was allotted in 2014.   Continue reading “President Obama Just Renewed the Drug War”

Project Chrome, a massive layoff that IBM is pretending is not a massive layoff, is underway. First reported by Robert X. Cringely (a pen name) inForbes, about 26 percent of the company’s global workforce is being shown the door. PARIS (AP) — Fearing that actors could be mistaken for police — and chase scenes confused for the real thing — Paris is sharply restricting filming of action movies in the city that has been the stage for some of film’s most memorable high-octane sequences.

Filming outside scenes with police, army or security services was quietly banned after the attacks in the French capital that left 20 dead, including three gunmen.   Continue reading “Paris restricts action movie filming after terror attacks”

The Bureau of Land Management is giving the public an extra month to review its sweeping new resource management plan for Southern Nevada, but that isn’t likely to satisfy those with concerns about the document and the agency behind it.

Clark County officials initially suggested the public comment period should be extended for a year, while some commissioners in Nye County seem to want nothing at all to do with the plan — or the BLM.   Continue reading “BLM extends comment period for controversial management plan”

Christian Zionism has led millions of so-called Christians to support war rather than peace, and the merciless killings of millions of people in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine.

What a horrendous perversion of the Gospel of Love! How can people who claim to follow Christ be so misled?! Because they have been fooled into believing the Bible teaches something it does not teach: Christian support of Israel. Israel is, in fact: antichrist, because Israel denies both the Father and the Son: “Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist–he denies the Father and the Son.” (1 John 2:22).
