It appears the government wants to hide the illegal actions it has taken, along with those of the Bureau of Land Management in the Bundy Ranch trial that is soon to begin.

On Tuesday, Prosecutors in Las Vegas filed a Motion In Limine  in the case of The United States vs Cliven Bundy et al.  They are hopeful that Nevada District Court Judge Gloria Navarro will allow the US central government to “cover-up” any wrong doing by Bureau Of Land Management agents during the 2014 Bundy Ranch siege.   Continue reading “Prosecutors Seek to Protect BLM from Scrutiny in Bundy Ranch Trial”

President Donald Trump may order a review that could lead to bringing back a CIA program for holding terrorism suspects in secret overseas “black site” prisons where interrogation techniques often condemned as torture were used, two U.S. officials said on Wednesday.

The black sites were used to detain suspects captured in President George W. Bush’s “war on terrorism” after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and were formally closed by former President Barack Obama.   Continue reading “Trump may reinstate secret CIA ‘black site’ prisons: U.S. officials”

After days of uncertainty, NYPD officials say the department will let the family of Ramarley Graham know if the department takes any disciplinary action against the officer who killed the unarmed 18-year-old five years ago.

Deputy Commissioner Kevin Richardson says the public will find out too, despite section 50-a of the state’s civil rights law which makes police disciplinary records confidential. A WNYC investigation in 2015 found it’s one of the most restrictive laws in the country and can actually impact a defendant’s right to a fair trial.   Continue reading “NYPD Backtracks on Releasing Disciplinary Info”

Violent thunderstorms tore across the South over the weekend, killing 19 people. But in an incredible stroke of good fortune, a bathtub probably saved the life of a woman sheltering from a twister that carved a 13-mile path in east Texas, near the border with Louisiana.

The National Weather Service forecast office in Shreveport, La., filed a storm report Monday night that is a simply jaw-dropping. It describes an 800-yard-wide tornado packing winds of 130 mph that tore off the roof of a storage building on Saturday and tossed a party barge 200 yards into a grove of trees. But here is the unbelievable part:   Continue reading “A woman flew through a tornado in a bathtub and survived”

Despite what even some alternative media commentators might argue, the Syrian war is about oil, gas, and money. A secret 1983 intelligence report has confirmed that America’s distaste for the Assad family in Syria has always revolved around pipeline disputes — and this alone has given the U.S. cause to go to war with Syria.

Most disturbingly, the report revealed that the United States urged Saddam Hussein to attack Hafez al-Assad in Syria because of the closure of Iraq’s oil pipeline.   Continue reading “Intelligence Report Reveals US Urged Saddam Hussein to Attack Syria”

It’s not always in life where you can narrow down the future to a simple question or two, but in the case of American politics you can do just that. It should be in our interest to enjoy life and live life with a free and healthy mind. Knowing what determines the future and having a solid foundation for predicting it is very much a part of that mental health. Just take a close look at the past 4 presidential administrations that followed Ronald Reagan’s eight years in office and you’ll understand exactly where we are historically and what roads are before us.   Continue reading “Answer This Question And You’ll Easily Understand The Next 4 Years”

At first, I thought someone was making a really stupid April Fool’s joke, but apparently it is true that the Texas Distinguished Scientist of 2006, University of Texas ecologist Eric Pianka told a meeting of the Texas Academy of Science that 90 percent of his fellow human beings must die in order to save the planet. A very disturbed Forrest M. Mims III — Chairman of the Environmental Science Section of the Texas Academy of Science, writing at The Citizen Scientist — reported:   Continue reading “To Save the Planet, Kill 90 Percent of People Off, Says UT Ecologist”
