LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — A 19-year-old university student in West Texas was charged early Tuesday with capital murder of a peace officer in the fatal shooting of a police officer at the campus police station, where he was being questioned in a drug-related case, authorities said.

According to a Texas Tech University statement, campus police made a student welfare check Monday evening and, upon entering the room, found evidence of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Officers then took the suspect to the police station for a standard debriefing and to prepare to take him to the Lubbock County jail, Texas Tech police Chief Kyle Bonath said.   Continue reading “Texas student charged with murder in campus officer’s death”

California regulators have largely acquiesced to General Motors’ requests to expand its fleet of self-driving robot cars. But that doesn’t mean there haven’t been a few, uh, bumps in the road for GM’s Cruise Automation division.

Reuters reported Thursday that the number of accidents involving GM’s self-driving cars has continued to climb, even as California and one powerful Senate committee have done everything in their power to hasten advances in the technology by allowing companies broad remit to increase the size of their fleets, while simultaneously green lighting a bill that would allow automakers to expand testing programs across the US.   Continue reading “Despite Spike In Accidents, California Allows GM To Expand Self-Driving Car Fleet”

There is a direct correlation between the hotel restaurant industry, the Hearing Protection (Share) Act, and the shooting in Las Vegas. What is it? More security, more jobs, more gun-control. America – under surveillance, housed in a prison cell of lies and deception. Terrorism from the inside out…

Imagine the future of America in the Hotel/Restaurant industry. Visualize checking into a hotel where all your bags are searched, your personal belongings are rummaged through and you have to walk through a scanner to get in, your license plates on your car are ran through the DMV in the parking lot, and background checks being performed at the time you make a reservation. This shooting in Las Vegas will bring more jobs to so called national security. More ways to invade your privacy and most likely make stiffer regulations for future hotel/restaurant industry managers to have certifications or special clearances to help spy on the nation.   Continue reading “The Correlation Between The Las Vegas Shooting and The Hearing Protection (Share) Act”

It was a summer fit for the start of the Epocalypse followed by a fall where every event leans into Halloween. Summer began with a total solar eclipse that cast a long shadow across the nation from sea to shining sea, and fall began with hurricanes, mass bloodshed and fire. And through it all, the stock market barely blinked.   Continue reading “US Stock Market Whistles Past the Graveyard”

The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”  ~ George Orwell

A few years back, I was doing some research about the aftermath of some natural disasters that took place here in America. I was shocked to find that the articles I was looking for – ones that I had read in the past – were pretty hard to find, but articles refuting the sought-for pieces were rampant.  Not just one event, but every single crisis aftermath that I looked up, had articles that were written after the fact stating in no uncertain terms that the hunger, chaos, and unrest never happened.   Continue reading “The Disaster Myth Narrative: No One Panics, No One Loots, No One Goes Hungry”

A Boston museum honoring the popular children’s author Dr Seuss has become embroiled in a race row over a mural depicting a “jarring stereotype” of a Chinese man.

The Dr Seuss Museum in Springfield, Massachusetts has agreed to remove the offending image but has now been criticized for kowtowing to political correctness. The illustration in question was taken from Dr Seuss’ first book, ‘And to think that I saw it on Mulberry Street,’ from 1937.   Continue reading “Dr Seuss ‘racist’? North Tonawanda, NY — As Americans continue to become more and more dependent upon the state to manage their daily lives, a new law that was just approved in New York epitomizes this irresponsible and outright complacent practice.

LAS VEGAS—Things have taken a sharp, rather unexpected turn regarding the Bundy trial in the U.S. District Court in Las Vegas, Nevada. For one thing, internet-radio personality Pete Santilli—one of the defendants in the trial phase that had been set to begin with jury selection on Oct. 10—“pled guilty today (Friday, Oct. 6) and was released pending sentencing,” his attorney, Chris Rasmussen of Las Vegas, confirmed for AFP by phone about 4:30 p.m. Eastern time that day.

Notably, that phase involves the federal government trying cattleman Cliven Bundy, his sons Ammon and Ryan, Ryan Payne. Due to his plea arrangement, Santilli, of course, is no longer involved in this phase.   Continue reading “Radio Host Pete Santilli Cops Plea to Avoid Possible Six-Year Sentence”
