Two San Antonio police officers are in critical condition and a suspect is dead following a shootout in downtown San Antonio on Thursday, according to FOX 29.

According to WBRZ, the Police Department in the Town of Slaughter in Louisiana is in “turmoil” after the Chief and the majority of his department called it quits. All of this follows stories by the Investigative Unit that showed Slaughter Mayor Robert Jackson had a quota system where he wanted police officers to write 40 tickets per month. A 62-year-old Vermont farmer has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for murdering his daughter’s boyfriend and dumping him in a manure pile.

Washington, D.C. has made “X” a gender option on driver’s licenses and identification cards, making it the first jurisdiction in the United States to offer gender-neutral identifications.

A group of people became the first in America to receive gender-neutral driver’s licenses on Tuesday in the nation’s capital, CNN reports. The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday after Christine Braswell, 26, claimed she saw Robert Raines rummaging through her SUV, WLOS reports.
