Hanford, situated 322 kilometers from Seattle, was established by the Manhattan Project during World War II. The site contains roughly 60 percent of the US’ most dangerous radioactive waste, all stored in decaying underground tanks, some of which have leaked. Clean-up of the site has been ongoing since the 1980s, costing over US$2 billion annually.

The US Department of Energy plans to reclassify some of the country’s most dangerous radioactive waste in order to lower its threat level.  Continue reading “US to Downgrade Danger of Nuclear Waste to Quicken Clean-Up Efforts”

An average of about 124,000 children of illegal aliens, commonly referred to as “anchor babies,” have been born in the United States this year thus far, analysis of Census Bureau data concludes.

In the first five months of 2019, about 124,000 children of illegal aliens were born on U.S. soil, thus solidifying their permanent American citizenship due to the nation’s birthright citizenship policy. The total derives from a Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) analysis of Census Bureau data, which reveals that, on average, about 300,000 anchor babies are born in the country every year, with nearly 25,000 anchor babies born every month. A chilling confession from a captured ISIS fighter has shed light on how the terrorist group intended to exploit the vulnerabilities of the U.S. border with Mexico, using English speakers and westerners to take advantage of smuggling routes and target financial institutions.

President Donald Trump has already successfully gotten more gun control done than his predecessor, Barack Obama.  But he doesn’t seem to want to stop at banning bump stocks.  He’s now “seriously” considering banning silencers.

The media is taking aim at Trump over the shootings and he responded in a manner that would make any Democrat smile. “Well, I’d like to think about it,” Trump said in an interview with Piers Morgan on ITV’s Good Morning Britain. “I’m going to seriously look at it.” While Trump said he didn’t “love” the idea of a ban, he also was unhappy to see the frequency and severity of mass shootings in the United States, according to Bloomberg. House Democrats are so pleased with their performance in Congress that they believe taxpayers should be giving them a $4,500 pay raise.

Spending leaders have reportedly voiced support for 2020 funding bills that would no longer block cost-of-living adjustments. Congress had voted to freeze congressional salaries at $174,000 in 2009 as the midterm elections approached and while the Obama economy struggled.  Continue reading “House Democrats Suggest They Need a Pay Raise”

Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida recently signed a bill which added ‘anti-Semitism’ to the list of outlawed forms of discrimination in Florida, equating it with other forms of racial discrimination, reported the Tallahassee Democrat.

The major problem many have with this bill is that the definition of Anti-semitism under this law includes everything from saying the “Jews control the media,” “Jews are more loyal to Israel than to America,” to many other questionable statements that are protected under the first amendment of the United States constitution. It is also now illegal to question the number of Jews who died in the Holocaust.  No other genocide has this protection in the world.  Continue reading “In Florida, It is Now HIGHLY ILLEGAL to Say “Jews Control Hollywood””

The Orange County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved a $1.1-million settlement for the mother of a man who was shot 18 times and had his skull fractured after a sheriff’s deputy stomped on his head.

federal jury ruled in January that the deputy used excessive force in the death of Connor Zion, 21, and decided his family should receive $360,000 in damages. An additional $740,000 was tacked on for the “tremendous amount of litigation” after the lawsuit slogged through the legal system for four years, said Dan Stormer, the attorney for Zion’s mother.

If you’re walking in Bloomfield, New Jersey, there’s a good chance you’re being recorded. But it’s not a corporate office or warehouse security camera capturing the footage — it’s likely a Ring doorbell made by Amazon.

While residential neighborhoods aren’t usually lined with security cameras, the smart doorbell’s popularity has essentially created private surveillance networks powered by Amazon and promoted by police departments.  Continue reading “Amazon’s helping police build a surveillance network with Ring doorbells”
