The US is reeling from another tragedy this week after a deranged madman walked into a Tennessee Waffle House and began firing rounds from an AR-15 which he was not allowed to have. Gun control measures that were in place—and actually led to the confiscation of Travis Reinking’s guns—did not stop this killer from carrying out the sick thoughts in his head.

Gun control was in place and it failed. Just hours before Toronto van attack suspect Alek Minassian was set to arrive in court at 100 Finch Ave. W at 10 am in Toronto, Reuters published a profile of the perpetrator of the worst mass killing in Canada in nearly 30 years.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has approved a draft interim agreement establishing free-trade zone between the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and Iran.

The corresponding order was published on Tuesday on the website of the Russian government. COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (AP) — The chairman of a commission examining the Florida high school massacre told his members Tuesday that they need to push aside ideology and base their final report solely on whatever facts they uncover.

Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri told the 16 commission members as they began their first meeting that their goal should be to prevent any more mass shootings like the one Feb. 14 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. A gunman killed 14 students and three staff members, and wounded 17 during a six-minute spree inside the three-story freshman building. Last week California Democratic Senators Josh Newman and Richard Pan fabricated claims of racism to exterminate a civil rights bill, and they got away with it despite their failure to provide any evidence substantiating their allegations.  To date, Senators Newman and Pan have not been held accountable for their actions.

On Saturday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sharply criticized the United States Armed Forces and its N.A.T.O. (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) allies for supplying weapons to Kurdish militias in Syria for free, while refusing to sell defense hardware to Turkey.

“We cannot buy weapons from the US with our money, but unfortunately, the US and coalition forces give these weapons, this ammunition, to terrorist organizations for free,” Erdoğan stated in an interview on Turkish NTV news channel.
