Four Oregon lobbyists in Salem have registered as working for New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s gun control advocacy group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns.

According to the Oregon Government Ethics Commission, the group spent a whopping $781.59 during the first quarter of this year (January through March). The second quarter reports won’t be available until July. But something about “the Obama at Columbia story” has always bothered me. Earlier in the week right here at The Blaze I wrote about having just returned from New York, where I attended my 30^th Columbia University reunion. I celebrated with my esteemed classmates. Everyone except Barack Obama. As usual- he wasn’t there. Not a trace. Not a video greeting. Not a letter. Off-duty cops in two counties in Alabama spent the weekend collecting saliva and blood samples from drivers at roadblocks.

According to Lt.
