After every visit they have confirmed, and confirmed again today that our children are happy, healthy and well cared for and that our property is sufficient for their needs. DUNDALK, Md. – A Maryland man is recovering after being violently beaten by a group of teenagers in an attack caught on video, reports CBS Baltimore.

Horrifying cell phone video shows a group of teens kicking and hitting Richard Fletcher, a 61-year-old Dundalk man, until he drops to the ground.

Fletcher reportedly suffered broken eye sockets, a broken nose, broken ribs and a brain bleed in the April 22 attack. He has since been released from the hospital.   Continue reading “Maryland man violently beaten by group of teens”

Gillian was fidgety. She couldn’t concentrate. And she was disturbing people. Gillian was considered hopeless by the school system. This was in the 1930s and Gillian was eight. As the story goes, she was sent to a specialist with her mother. After about 20 minutes of dialogue, the specialist told Gillian that he needed to speak with her mother privately. Before leaving, he turned on the radio. Once the pair were in the next room, he said to her mother, “Just stand and watch her.” As soon as the adults were gone, Gillian jumped to her feet and began to dance to the music. They watched her for a few minutes before he turned to her mother and said, “Mrs. Lynne, Gillian isn’t sick; she’s a dancer. Don’t mess with mama bear.

Tourists in Yellowstone National Park learned that lesson the hard way last Wednesday when they got too close to a trio of cubs.

The National Park Service has a number of rules about viewing bears, and these tourists seem to have violated nearly all of them.
