What an interesting turn of events in Mt. Vernon , Texas …Diamond D’s brothel began construction on an expansion of their building to increase their ever-growing business. In response, the local Baptist Church started a campaign to block the business from expanding — with morning, afternoon, and evening prayer sessions at their church.

Work on Diamond D’s progressed right up until the week before the grand re-opening when lightning struck the whorehouse and burned it to the ground!   Continue reading “Whorehouse Sues Local Church Over Lightning Strike”

The US Retail Industry is CollapsingThe Organic Prepper

Shopping malls across America are going to look a whole lot emptier soon. An exodus of giant retailers is beginning with the announcement of hundreds of store closures and thousands of people newly unemployed.

The first of January, I broke with my usual tradition and wrote not about positive resolutions, but about the impending rockslide of the US economy. And “rockslide” is an apt word: as one thing starts rolling down the mountain, it will pick up other things until a veritable avalanche of other businesses and people are affected and rolling pell-mell right alongside.   Continue reading “The US Retail Industry is Collapsing: Here’s Why You’re in Trouble”

In Salt Lake City, Utah, a man named James Dudley Barker, 42 was shot dead by a police officer last week after offering his routine door-to-door snow-shoveling services.

The altercation was recorded on body-cam footage until it was abruptly cut before the shooting; the cops claim the bodycam was broken at the time the video ceases.

The verbal altercation became physical when the cop appeared to swing at Barker after he got upset at the officer verbally.   Continue reading “Officer’s Bodycam “Malfunctions” Seconds Before He Shot and Killed a Man”

Richard EschThe Anti-Media – by Cassius Methyl

Richard Esch was 16 years old when the wife of a police officer struck him and his 3 friends with her SUV, killing his best friend and irreparably injuring and traumatizing the survivors in Ontario, Canada.

“He was my best friend,” he said, holding a photo of deceased Derek Majewski.

Now, the killer of Richard’s best friend is actually suing the Esch family and the other boy who she hit with her car, Jake Roberts, for  hitting them with her car. “In my entire career I’ve never heard of anyone ever suing a dead child that they killed,” said the Esch family’s lawyer. “It’s horrible.”   Continue reading “Cop’s Wife Kills Teen in Accident After Having Drinks at a Bar, Apologizes by Suing Family”

gas-2Epic Times

American politicians are all revved up for a gas tax hike — prices are low and Washington wants part of the action while consumers are less likely to notice the increase.

A twelve cent gas tax is being proposed. But here’s the problem: each penny increase in the gas tax takes about $1 billion from the wallets of drivers. So that’s $12 billion out of our wallets and into the coffers of the government.   Continue reading “Big Government Will Raise The Gas Tax And Infrastructure Will Keep Crumbling”

The United States aims to use new sanctions imposed on North Korea over the cyber attack on Sony Pictures to cut off the country’s remaining links to the international financial system, a senior U.S. Treasury official said on Tuesday.

Daniel Glaser, assistant secretary for terrorist financing at the U.S. Treasury Department, said past sanctions had already discouraged “hundreds” of overseas banks, including China’s major commercial banks, from doing business with North Korea.   Continue reading “U.S. takes aim at North Korea’s remaining financial links”

William Casey, CIA Director 1981-1987

“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”

That creepy quote above has been widely attributed to Former CIA Director William Casey.

Casey was the 13th CIA Director from 1981 until he left in January 1987. He died not long after of a brain tumor in May 1987. Dead men tell no tales, as they say.   Continue reading “CIA Flashback: “We’ll Know Our Disinformation Program Is Complete When Everything the American Public Believes Is False.””

MARKHAM, Ill. (AP) — A suburban Chicago police officer had better and safer options than to fire beanbags to subdue a confused, knife-wielding 95-year-old World War II veteran, a prosecutor told the court Tuesday at the outset of the officer’s trial on a felony reckless conduct charge in the man’s death.

With all of their police equipment, training and “common sense,” Craig Taylor and the other Park Forest officers didn’t have to storm into John Wrana’s room at an assisted living center on July 26, 2013, Cook County State’s Attorney Lynn McCarthy said during her opening statements. They did so, though, and Taylor ended up firing five beanbags at Wrana, including the fatal one that struck his abdomen and caused internal bleeding, she said.   Continue reading “Officer stands trial in 95-year-old’s beanbag shooting death”

Oil Price – by Colin Chilcoat

As the world’s number one energy consumer China is enjoying the low prices while they last. Never one to settle however, China is finding still more ways to take advantage of the dire straits gripping several oil producers.

China’s slowdown is real – preliminary data suggests 2014 will mark the weakest GDP growth in 24 years – but the country still has plenty of money to play with that is taking it places the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) wouldn’t dare. Their reward? More oil of course. With tough conditions and greater access to raw commodities, China looks to turn the high risk into equal or greater returns.   Continue reading “China Buying Up Latin American Oil”

Jason Westcott had no criminal record to speak of, and yet he died in a SWAT “drug raid” on his house which yielded only $2.00 in marijuana.
