Illegal immigrants who are able to obtain Social Security Numbers and work permits as a result of President Obama’s executive amnesty could claim tens of thousands of dollars in back tax benefits, a new Congressional Research Service memo obtained first by Breitbart News reveals.

The report comes following the Internal Revenue Service’s confirmation that once illegal immigrants are granted Social Security Numbers — as a result of Obama’s executive actions — they will be able to file back tax returns and obtain up to four years of tax benefits, including the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Child Tax Credit (CTC).   Continue reading “Amnesty Beneficiaries Could Claim More Than $35K In Tax Benefits In First Year”

The new generation of “maker” tools like 3-D printers and milling machines promises to let anyone make virtually anything—from prosthetic limbs to firearms—in the privacy and convenience of his or her own home. But first, those tools have to get to customers’ homes. That’s going to be difficult for at least one new machine with the potential to make homemade firearms, because FedEx is refusing to deliver it.   Continue reading “FedEx And UPS Refuse to Ship a Digital Mill That Can Make Untraceable Guns”

Ukrainian authorities decision to halt gas supplies to Donetsk amid the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe occurring there “bear the hallmarks of genocide,” blasted Russia’s Vladimir Putin during an awkward press conference with Cyprus’ President Nicos Anastasiades (who he had just agreed bilateral military and trade deals with). “Apparently, some responsible leaders of the modern-day Ukraine are unable to understand the importance of humanitarian issues,” Sputnik News reports Putin concluded. In an attempt to gain leverage and force Ukraine’s hand however, Russia’s Gazprom has indicated it intends to suspend gas deliveries to Ukraine (and thus Europe via pipelines) unless Kiev makes a further prepayment.   Continue reading “Putin Slams Ukraine Decision To Cut-Off Gas To East As “Genocidal””

Two prominent House committee chairs are “deeply disappointed” in Federal Communications Commission chairman Tom Wheeler for refusing to testify before Congress as “the future of the Internet is at stake.”

Wheeler’s refusal to go before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday comes on the eve of the FCC’s vote on new Internet regulations pertaining to net neutrality. The committee’s chairman, Representative Jason Chaffetz (R., Utah), and Energy and Commerce Committee chairman Fred Upton (R., Mich.) criticized Wheeler and the administration for lacking transparency on the issue.   Continue reading “FCC Chair Refuses to Testify before Congress ahead of Net Neutrality Vote”

For many months, EFF has been working with a broad coalition of advocates to persuade the Federal Communications Commission to adopt new Open Internet rules that would survive legal scrutiny and actually help protect the Open Internet. Our message has been clear from the beginning: the FCC has a role to play, but its role must be firmly bounded.

Two weeks ago, we learned that we had likely managed the first goal—the FCC is going to do the right thing and reclassify broadband as a telecommunications service, giving it the ability to make new, meaningful Open Internet rules.  But we are deeply concerned that the FCC’s new rules will include a provision that sounds like a recipe for overreach and confusion: the so-called “general conduct rule.”   Continue reading “Dear FCC: Rethink The Vague “General Conduct” Rule”

The first-ever armored taxi appears in RussiaiHLS

This is the most unique Taxi in the world. If you happen to be in Russia, you can now take a ride in military style. The taxi’s armor protects passengers from bullets and shrapnel and is being called the “safe taxi”.

ICRM – infantry combat reconnaissance machine – have been on patrol in St. Petersburg since the beginning of the year. These ICRMs are real armored vehicles with a spinning tower and an artificial large-caliber machine gun on top. The armor is one-centimeter thick and can protect passengers from bullets or shrapnel. Machine-gun fire wouldn’t stand a chance.   Continue reading “The first-ever armored taxi appears in Russia”

No ChevronSRSrocco Report

The Shale Energy Industry suffered another big blow as Chevron terminated its last European operations in Romania due to poor exploration results and ongoing anti-fracking protests.  Chevron also suspended all operations in Poland last month and cancelled shale gas agreements in Ukraine and Lithuania.

This is just another bad sign for the Shale Energy Industry.  A few years ago, the hype put out by the Main Stream Media (MSM), was that there was an endless amount of shale oil and gas reserves all over the world.  Of course, this was pure nonsense as a few of the more enlightened energy analysts knew better.   Continue reading “Chevron Terminates All Shale Gas Exploration In Europe”

medicinal marijuana, rabbis, kosher, kashrut, marijuanaCarbonated TV – by Hana LaRock

Medicinal and even recreational marijuana has become available in several states over the last year. Now, a company from Colorado, where weed is legalized, is working with rabbis from New York to create a certified Kosher edible, that can be supplied to patients who follow strict dietary laws.

Next year in New York, it is looking like medicinal marijuana will be legalized under the Compassionate Care Act signed by Governor Cuomo. This would be a great way to cater to a whole new demographic of people who need medicinal marijuana, but aren’t able to have it because it simply isn’t Kosher.    Continue reading “Marijuana Might Soon Be Certified Kosher”

WASHINGTON — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declined an invitation to meet with Democratic Senators behind closed doors when he comes to the U.S. to address a joint session of Congress next month.

“Though I appreciate your kind invitation to meet with Democratic Senators, I believe that doing so at this time could compound the misperception of partisanship regarding my upcoming visit,” Netanyahu said in a letter to Senator Dick Durbin and Senator Dianne Feinstein.    Continue reading “Israeli PM Netanyhau Declines Invite From Senate Democrats”

Oil prices dumped (last night’s major 8.9 million barrel inventory build from API), pumped (the Saudi minister claiming “demand is growing” – which just seems like total fiction given economic backdrops and China’s VLCC count plunge), and then this morning, dumped setting the scene for this morning’s EIA inventory data. Against expectations of an 8 million barrel build, crude inventories saw a 8.43 million barrel build (5 times higher than the 5 year average). Record levels of production and record total inventory sent WTI plunging out of the gate but it is stabilizing for now…   Continue reading “Crude Oil Inventories Surge For 7th Week In A Row To Record Highs Amid Record Production”
