Imagine visiting Yellowstone this summer. You wake up before dawn to take a picture of the sunrise over the mists emanating from Yellowstone hot springs. A thunderhead towers above the rising sun, and the picture turns out beautifully. You submit the photo to a contest sponsored by the National Weather Service. Under a statute signed into law by the Wyoming governor this spring, you have just committed a crime and could face up to one year in prison.   Continue reading “Yellowstone Photo Could Get You 1 Year In Prison Under New Wyoming Law”

zThe pro-Nazi core of the Ukrainian government that was installed by the U.S. in February 2014 is too well-documented to be denied, and so the West’s major propaganda media (self-styled as being ‘news’ media) instead simply hide it — most don’t report any of it, but a few report snippets along with excuses to make individual events seem like aberrations, not the core, which they actually are.

Here is a photo from Russia’s “Life News” on May 13th, headlining “Soldiers of ‘Azov’ Teach Students to Shoot a Grenade Launcher and Throw Grenades”:   Continue reading “Nazism of Ukraine’s Western-Backed Government Is Hidden by Western ‘News’ Media”

The commuter rail route where an Amtrak train left the track on Tuesday was not governed by an advanced safety technology meant to prevent high-speed derailments, investigators said on Wednesday.

A system called “positive train control” (PTC) automatically slows or even halts trains that are moving too fast or heading into a danger zone. Under current law, the rail industry must adopt the technology by the end of this year.   Continue reading “Derailed Amtrak train lacked latest U.S. safety controls”

The U.S. House of Representatives approved a bill on Wednesday that would end spy agencies’ bulk collection of Americans’ telephone data, setting up a potential showdown with the U.S. Senate over the program, which expires on June 1.

The House voted 338-88 for the USA Freedom Act, which would end the bulk collection and instead give intelligence agencies access to telephone data and other records only when a court finds there is reasonable suspicion about a link to international terrorism.   Continue reading “House votes to end spy agencies’ bulk collection of phone data”

It was entertainment night at the senior citizens’ center. After the community sing along led by Alice at the piano, it was time for the star of the show – Claude the Hypnotist!

Claude explained that he was going to put the whole audience into a trance. “Yes, each and every one of you and all at the same time.” said Claude.

The excited chatter dropped to silence as Claude carefully withdrew from his waistcoat pocket a beautiful antique gold pocket watch and chain. “I want you to keep your eyes on this watch” said Claude, holding the watch high for all to see. “It is a very special and valuable watch that has been in my family for six generations” said Claude.   Continue reading “The Hypnotist at a Seniors Home”

May 10, 2015: Moscow – Putin’s and Merkel’s Q&A: Merkel, wearing all black: Hand Crimea over to NATO, let us kill all the Russians in Ukraine and install NATO bases on your border, and we will allow our capital to come back to suck the Russian economy dry. Putin: Bite me! You are the fascist coup supporters. [Source]

May 12, 2015: Sochi – Somebody left the Washington stable door opened, and Kerry got lost and wandered into Putin’s back yard. The Russians placed Kerry right in front of a hey box. He was hovering slowly over his fat folder with stickers: Ahhh… whatyamacallit? errr.. Poroshenko… should think twice before shelling those nice people in Donbass. Why did everybody get so surprised? Kerry is no fearless Merkel. He and his calcified prostate wanted to get back home. Surrounded by the enemy he unconditionally surrenders. It’s his kneejerk reaction since the Vietnam war.   Continue reading “Ukraine SITREP May 13th, 2015 by Scott”

As if it weren’t infuriating enough that American taxpayers are being forced to house, feed, medically treat and educate the never-ending influx of illegal immigrant minors, the Obama administration is also doling out millions of dollars to provide them with free legal representation.

Unlike the criminal justice system, in immigration court the government doesn’t offer free lawyers to those who can’t afford them. This means that illegal aliens who don’t have the money to pay for one must represent themselves in legal proceedings or rely on volunteer attorneys or paralegals provided by immigrant rights groups. This leaves many illegal aliens in removal proceedings without adequate legal representation and that’s simply not acceptable to the president.   Continue reading “U.S. to Spend $2 Mil on Attorneys for Illegal Alien Minors”

Jeb Bush is a presidential candidate.

But Jeb is not only the brother of George W. and the son of George H. W. Bush.

Jeb Bush also had close personal ties to Raul Salinas de Gortiari, brother of Mexico’s former president Carlos Salinas de Gortiari. The police simply weren’t moving fast enough for a man looking for his abducted cousin. In spite of the fact that officers had been called, they were not taking the kidnapping seriously.

That’s why the victim’s cousin kicked in the back door of an abandoned house where his kidnapped relative had been taken and shot and killed her kidnapper, according to law enforcement representatives in Louisiana.   Continue reading “Police Wouldn’t Do It, So Kidnap Victim’s Family Kicked Down Door and Killed Abductor”

In early March, we discussed the rather deplorable state of Illinois’ public pension plans which, we noted, are underfunded by some 60%. On a statewide basis, making up the deficit would cost around $22,000 per household, which gives you an idea of the cost to taxpayers of the grossly underfunded pension liabilities.   Continue reading “Chicago “Junking” Triggers $2.2 Billion Payment, Deepening Financial Crisis”

In October 2014, the Israeli firm International Security and Defence Systems (ISDS) announced it had won a $2.2 billion contract with the Brazilian government to coordinate security at the huge sports event. The Times of Israel described the deal as “an unprecedented achievement for Israel,” while senior figures from the company stated it had already begun work.

What some may regard as a noble or even heroic action landed an Iraq war veteran in jail. Michael Hammons was arrested in Georgia and charged with criminal trespassing after breaking the glass of a hot car to free a panting pet.

Witnesses who saw the man save the dog say they had actually noticed the canine inside the hot Ford Mustang before Hammons ever came on the scene. But, whilst they were waiting for the police, the Desert Storm veteran decided to take action.   Continue reading “US Army veteran arrested after saving distressed dog from hot car”

Biological and health scientists from Russia and Iran to the USA are calling on the UN, the World Health Organization and national governments to develop strict regulations concerning devices and cellphones that create electromagnetic fields.

The scientists are from 39 nations and have authored 2,000 peer-reviewed papers on the health and biological effects of non-ionizing radiation, which is part of the electromagnetic field spectrum. In a letter, they say that devices like cellphones pose risks of cancer, genetic damage, changes in reproductive system, and learning and memory deficits.   Continue reading “Nearly 200 scientists warn of cellphone health risks”
