Ever wonder who runs the world? According to former CFR president,  Winston Lord, the CFR runs the world: “The Trilateral Commission doesn’t run the world, the Council on Foreign Relations does that!” A particularly fascinating article with amazing videos of  those making decisions about our lives. President Obama says he hasn’t given up on gun control, despite legislative defeats and opposition from many Americans.

“No, I haven’t given up,” he told ABC News in a new interview. “What we’ve done is to try to do as much as we could administratively to tighten up how background checks are run, to go after illegal drug runners. BOSTON-BOMBINGS-TRIAL/Yahoo News – by Holly Bailey

BOSTON—Nearly two years after two pressure-cooker bombs ripped through a crowd of unsuspecting spectators near the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon, a federal jury found Dzhokhar Tsarnaev guilty for his role in the deadly attacks, which killed three and injured nearly 300.

The decision came a day and a half after seven women and five men began deliberations in the first phase of the trial and after 17 days of emotional and often gruesome testimony and evidence in the case. Jurors repeatedly saw horrific photos and videos of the bloody aftermath of the bombs. They also heard heart-wrenching testimony from survivors, including the father of the youngest victim of the attacks—8-year-old Martin Richard–whose body was literally blown apart by the second bomb.   Continue reading “Jury finds Dzhokhar Tsarnaev guilty of Boston Marathon bombings”

And are there actually people who need to be cautioned not to light a candle until they remove it from the package?   Continue reading “Darwin Weeps: Warning Labels and Technology Render the Survival Mindset Obsolete”
