If you’re Social Justice Warrior, you’re a liar. You actively spread absurd falsehoods about the nature of men, women, sex, and culture that can’t withstand even the slightest scrutiny. You change history and conceal facts to fit preferred narratives, even when it costs human lives. You claim the best of intentions yet achieve the worst of outcomes. And through it all, you hate the very nation and political system that have granted you the liberties you so grotesquely abuse.   Continue reading “Political Correctness Has Peaked”

One of the primary “talking points” used by the Department of Justice to defend its practice of systematically deeming corporate criminals above the law via its used of deferred prosecution agreements, has been an emphasis on how much money it has earned in fines from criminal corporations. These fines were supposed to be distributed to help victimized American citizens. Not any more.   Continue reading “How the U.S. Government is Raiding a Citizen Victim Relief Fund to Pay for General Expenses”

As Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) continues to climb in the national GOP presidential polls, so do his prospects of picking up major donors, whose big bucks could very well push him across his party’s primary finish line in 2016–donors such as casino magnate Sheldon Adelson.

Even though Trump is still at the top of the field of candidates, followed by Ben Carson and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rubio is surging, and is making the case as to why he could be the one candidate whose message will transcend political, ethnic, and racial lines.   Continue reading “Casino Magnate Sheldon Adelson Poised to Back Rubio”

One of the wealthiest and most influential Republican donors in the country is throwing his support to Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, a decision that could swing millions of dollars in contributions behind Mr. Rubio at a critical point in the Republican nominating battle.

BEIJING/WASHINGTON – In August, foreign ministers from 10 nations blasted China for building artificial islands in the disputed South China Sea. As media around the world covered the diplomatic clash, a radio station that serves the most powerful city in America had a distinctive take on the news.

Located outside Washington, D.C., WCRW radio made no mention of China’s provocative island project. Instead, an analyst explained that tensions in the region were due to unnamed “external forces” trying “to insert themselves into this part of the world using false claims.”   Continue reading “Beijing’s covert radio network airs China-friendly news across Washington, and the world”

American so-called “higher education” does exactly what it should: prepare college students for the real world. On 2015 Earth, students must learn the Orwellian condition that what we use for money is created as debt, producing an economy adding negative numbers forever with “developed” “modern” nations now $50 trillion in debt, the top 1% having more assets than the 99% combined, and the US top 1% has more assets than the bottom 90%.   Continue reading “Half of 25-year-olds live with parents, 1 million college students ‘Sugar Babies’, 31% of adjunct profs in poverty: Demanding obvious economic solutions yet???”

President Barack Obama on Monday signed into a law a two-year budget blueprint passed by Congress last week that also lifts the threat of a default on U.S. government debt.

In a brief signing ceremony in the Oval Office, Obama noted lawmakers would still need to pass spending bills, but said he was confident they could get them done on time, and that the bill should free the nation from last-minute government shutdown threats.   Continue reading “Obama signs budget bill that lifts threat of debt default”

[Recently], She-who-must-be-obeyed and I took an excursion train from Spencer, NC to Asheville, NC. It went from Spencer, down through Salisbury, and then through every small to mid-sized town on the way to Asheville. It was a nice ride that I would recommend to anybody. I did, however, make a few more interesting observations along the way.

I’ve heard people talking about using railroad right-of-ways as a means of low profile transit post SHTF. It is true that they are further out of the public eye than interstates and major highways. However, unlike interstates and major highways, they do not have a way of bypassing any town or major city. Continue reading “Trolls Live Under Bridges”

Sweden is shaping up to be the first country to plunge its citizens into a fascinating — and terrifying — economic experiment: negative interest rates in a cashless society.

The Swedish central bank held its benchmark interest rate at -0.35% today, the level it has been at since July.

Although retail banks have yet to pass on that negative to rate to Swedish consumers, the longer it’s held there the more financial pressure there is for banks to pass the costs onto their customers. That’s a problem because Sweden is the closest country on the planet to becoming an all-electronic cashless society.   Continue reading “People in Sweden are hiding cash in their microwaves because of a fascinating — and terrifying — economic experiment”

Hello Barbie will be available in stores right in time for the holidays. A campaign entitled “Hell No Barbie” however seeks to inform consumers that this doll has the potential to severely violate their privacy.

In an attempt to revitalize its Barbie brand, Mattel will soon launch Hello Barbie, a Wi-Fi-connected doll with artificial intelligence that “talks” to children by recording what they say and responding accordingly. All of the children’s interactions with the doll are recorded using a microphone and are sent to a remote server through Wi-Fi. Be honest. When you think about a stockpile, the first thing that comes to mind is food, right?

Preppers are well-known for having a stash of long-term food to sustain them through anything from a winter storm that leaves them stranded for a week to the end of the world, but there’s a lot more to a good stockpile than edible items.  Think about the things you use on a regular basis that you purchase from the store. Personal hygiene items, school supplies, cleaning supplies – the list goes on and on of consumable goods that you use without really thinking about it.   Continue reading “The Top 50 Non-Food Stockpile Necessities”

It might be the world’s most expensive gas station — not to mention a gross misuse of taxpayer money, according to a top government watchdog.

The Department of Defense spent $43 million to build a gas station in Afghanistan that should have cost roughly $500,000, the lead oversight team monitoring U.S. spending in Afghanistan has found. The discovery came as part of a broader investigation into allegations of criminal activity within the DOD’s premiere program to kick-start the Afghan economy.    Continue reading “‘Colossal waste’: DOD slammed for $43M, US-funded gas station in Afghanistan”

On Monday, President Obama is announcing a new order to reduce potential discrimination against former convicts in the hiring process for federal government employees.

It is a step towards what many criminal justice reformers call “ban the box” – the effort to eliminate requirements that job applicants check a box on their applications if they have a criminal record. While the rule was once seen as a common sense way for employers to screen for criminal backgrounds, it has been increasingly criticized as a hurdle that fosters employment discrimination against former inmates, regardless of the severity of their offense or how long ago it occurred. Banning the box delays when employers learn of an applicant’s record.   Continue reading “Obama Bans Hiring Bias Against Ex-Cons Seeking Federal Jobs”
