Omaha, NE — Two former police officers are now facing charges for their role in the horrific death of a mentally ill man after dashcam video shows them deploying a taser on him numerous times, and then punching him until he died.
The charges stem from a confrontation on June 5, in which Officers Makyla Mead and Jennifer Strudl were called to investigate a disturbance at a local gas station. Upon arrival, they approached Zachary Bearheels and initiated contact with him, quickly placing him in handcuffs. Another state is adding themselves to the growing list of constitutional carry states, meaning that citizens can carry without a permit, and secure themselves as the 12th state to do so.
North Dakota just passed a new bill, House Bill 1169, and it will go into effect on August 1. Governor Doug Bargum signed the bill back in March. Continue reading “North Dakota to Allow Constitutional Carry”
WEB Notes: This is a great resource to verify the drinking water in your community. I even see very small rural communities included in this database. We will place this post in the Resourcessection of our site for future reference.
Starting today, the vast majority of Americans can learn about every potentially harmful chemical in their drinking water and what scientists say are the safe levels of those contaminants. EWG’s new national Tap Water Database is the most complete source available on the quality of U.S. drinking water, aggregating and analyzing data from almost 50,000 public water systems in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. While evangelical Christians and pastors and conservative pundits on FOX News, radio talk shows, and Internet news sites constantly rail against the perceived threat that Islam poses to the United States (Saudi Arabia IS a real threat–most of the Islamic terror groups hail from Saudi Arabia–but of course, the U.S. considers the House of Saud an ally and has made over $11 billion in military aid available to them; and rarely do anti-Muslim Christians make any distinction between Islam in general and the terrorist state of Saudi Arabia in particular), almost no one dares to warn the American people about our country’s greatest threat: Zionism. The Truth Behind the Sign
I read something incredibly amusing today about the “I Love You” sign language sign.
I read the “article” on a page called Signs of Satan. I am honestly thinking that whoever wrote this did it just for the attention. If that’s the case, I really hate giving them the satisfaction, but I just want to make sure that everyone knows that it is not true. Continue reading “I LOVE YOU Sign Language Sign”
Scientists for Wired Technology
Scientists For Wired Technology lobbies local, state and federal government to support measures that will protect all from the hazards of exposures to Pulsed Radio-Frequency Microwave Radiation (RF/MW radiation) — a known human carcinogen. As duration, not intensity, is the most important factor in RF/MW radiation exposures, the collateral damage of the misguided and ill-advised Wireless revolution will be us. The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) met with members of Congress this week to discuss multiple issues when a Republican congressman asked a question that would expose the state’s immoral and tyrannical war on drugs in an accidental stroke of logic.
Harold Watson “Trey” Gowdy III is a member of the Tea Party movement and the Republican Party and serves as a congressman from South Carolina. He is also the chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. During the meeting with the ONDCP this week, Gowdy asked why marijuana was a schedule I drug.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is aiming to lower nicotine in cigarettes to non-addictive levels.
The agency on Friday announced a regulatory roadmap and shifts as part of a larger attempt to tackle tobacco-related disease and death, saying it “plans to begin a public dialogue about lowering nicotine levels in combustible cigarettes to non-addictive levels through achievable product standards.” Continue reading “FDA announces plan to lower nicotine in cigarettes toward non-addictive levels”
