As the price of lumber reaches an all-time record high, investors better take this as another warning that the market is in a massive bubble.  However, a large percentage of investors today are unable to spot bubbles because everything is in a bubble.  So, to see the price of lumber hit the highest price ever, doesn’t phase the market one bit.  Well, maybe the home builders understand the dangers of rising lumber prices, but the overall market is clueless.

Authorities are trying to determine how a box of ammunition fell from a military helicopter and crashed through the roof of an elementary school in Texas.

The Ysleta Independent School District says no one was injured when the ammo box hit Parkland Elementary School in El Paso on Thursday afternoon. Boulder’s City Council unanimously passed a ban on assault weapons, even as it faced down a threat of legal action during Tuesday night’s meeting.

Lebanon High School was put under lockdown Friday, and all other schools in the small Linn County city were on lockout, according to the local school district.

Las Vegas, NV — In their sixth citizen shooting of 2018, Las Vegas police have shot a young woman for holding a shovel. LVMPD officer Ondre Wills is now on paid administrative leave after dumping seven rounds into Sommer Richards, 34, as she turned to walk away from him.

According to police, they were called to the area because the tiny 120 lb woman was either intoxicated or mentally ill and threatening neighbors with a broom and a skillet. San Antonio Police officers may have averted a mass-shooting at a state mental health hospital after an employee allegedly entered the facility while armed. The employee also reportedly had a “hit list” in his possession, along with a journal.

Officials with the San Antonio State Hospital called police after an employee reported seeing a weapon in another employee’s bag. UPDATE AT 6:44 A.M. MAY 18: Las Vegas police sent out a tweet on Friday morning, saying that their PIO (Public Information Office) will release more information about the man who was arrested after Thursday night’s incident at Boulevard Mall.

Las Vegas police responded to reports of a man with a mask and a gun at the Boulevard Mall on Maryland Parkway shortly after 7 p.m. May 17.
