A roaring waterfall is pouring over Santa Clara County’s Anderson Reservoir for the first time in 11 years.

The town of Morgan Hill, Calif. now has its own Niagara Falls–like attraction, and over the weekend many came out to take photographs and videos of the spectacular surge.

While I did appreciate a report by the NRA that debunked NBC’s claim that criminals buy gun parts online and can easily assemble them to build an untraceable “ghost gun,” neither NBC nor the NRA got at the root of the issue and that is the Second Amendment does not allow for government to track, trace, regulate or restrict our right to keep and bear arms. That includes buying and making them.

According to an article in Alabama.com the Briarwood Presbyterian Church and Briarwood Christian School wants to have it’s own police force. MANTECA — San Joaquin County OES is reporting a levee breach on the San Joaquin River, about two miles to the west of Airport Way and Perrin Road near Manteca.

Officials say the breach has been halted but emergency evacuations remain in place.

The breach was caused by the rising San Joaquin River and recent storms. Crews are working on filling the levee gap and reducing the flow of water.
