Shawano, WI — According to the National Center for Educational Statistics, one out of every four students (22%) report being bullied during the school year. Often times, when the bullying goes unchecked, students are at increased risk for poor school adjustment, sleep difficulties, anxiety, and depression, according to the Centers for Disease Control.

Bullying can be problematic for many students and is most assuredly unacceptable. However, as long as there have been schools, there have been bullies. Unfortunately, bullying is inevitable.    Continue reading “Town Passes Law to Use Cops to Combat Bullying by Going After the Parents”

Michael Bloomberg gave a not so popular commencement address at the University of Michigan over the weekend. The former champion of banning large sugary drinks wassurprisingly critical of college “safe spaces”, the new trend that’s sweeping the nation.

When the topic of critical lessons learned throughout college came up, the former mayor didn’t hold back on his feelings about the subject. As he spoke, he was originally met with a mixed reaction from the students, with some clapping and some booing.   Continue reading “Mike Bloomberg Booed After Lashing Out At College “Safe Spaces””

Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore (R), who is currently seeking her party’s nomination for an open U.S. House seat, said last week that she believes the right to self defense includes the right to aim your gun anyone who aims a gun at you, even if they are a law enforcement officer.

In an interview with a local TV station last Sunday, Fiore attacked the federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) as “a bureaucrat agency of terrorism.” Pressed by KLAS-8 host Steve Sebelius about whether she believes the Second Amendment grants citizens the right to point a weapon at a “duly authorized law enforcement officer who is just out there doing his job,” she said that self-defense includes the right to aim back at anyone who points a gun at you first — and to put your own life ahead of theirs.   Continue reading “Nevada Lawmaker: It’s Okay To Aim Guns At Cops If They Aim At You First”

Orange County, FL — Deputy Tracy Weiss was off-duty last month when she noticed that her illegally parked truck was being towed. The way she acted next could have landed a normal person in jail. However, because Weiss is a deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s department, that will likely not happen.

When Weiss noticed that her truck was being towed, she jumped into another vehicle and then drove the wrong way down a one-way street to block the driver in who had towed her car.   Continue reading “Enraged Cop Flips Out When Her Car is Towed for Illegal Parking — Pulls Gun on Tow Truck Driver”

How to drive without a license is an aspect of sovereignty that many people want to learn. Can you legally drive without a license?

A video uploaded to YouTube this week shows a man filming his DUI checkpoint refusal. However, this refusal is unlike any the Free Thought Project has come across before.

As he engages with the officer, the man is told he is at a DUI checkpoint and he needs to present his license and insurance. Naturally wondering why or how one’s license and insurance could prove sobriety, the man proceeds to mentally dominate the officer.   Continue reading “Rights Flexing Hero Uses Jedi Mind Trick to Outsmart Cops and Beat DUI Checkpoint”

Another May Day in Seattle is here and gone, but this one looked a little different. Only nine arrests were made, as compared to 16 in 2015. Five officers were injured and property damage was relatively minimal.

After a peaceful immigration rally and march earlier in the day, the scene quickly escalated well before the sun set. Police reported rocks, broken windows, and even molotov cocktails early in the evening. Officers deployed pepper spray and blast balls around 7:30 p.m.   Continue reading “Nine arrests, five SPD officers injured in May Day march”

As the Obama administration is preparing to offer Israel the largest military aid package in U.S. history, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reportedly gunned down a pregnant Palestinian woman in broad daylight.

The brutal incident took place at the Qalandia terminal, north of occupied Jerusalem. IDF soldiers reportedly shot and killed the Palestinian mother of two, who was five months pregnant, and her 16-year-old brother. Then they prevented Palestinian medics on the scene from rendering aid.   Continue reading “IDF Guns Down Pregnant Woman as U.S. Readies Largest Military Aid Package in History for Israel”

Jacksonville, FL — Earlier this week, the Free Thought Project reported on the story of Officer Akinyemi Borisade who was caught on surveillance footage beating Mayra Martinez — while she was in handcuffs. The surveillance footage of the incident was brutal, but on Sunday, the department released dashcam footage of the arrest which shows an even more violent scene.

Martinez, 31, had a bad first day on the job at the local Scores Bar in Jacksonville. That afternoon, she became intoxicated, quit, and refused to leave, so police were called. When police arrived at the bar around 5 p.m., they arrested Martinez and charged her with trespassing and resisting.   Continue reading “Cop Caught in 2 Videos in 2 Incidents, Beating the Same Woman, the 2nd Time She Was Cuffed”
