The stupidity of zero tolerance rules claims yet another victim, this time in Massachusetts:

A 6-year-old kindergartner sparked an uproar at his Massachusetts school when he was spotted brandishing a tiny plastic Lego gun on the school bus last week.   Continue reading “Kindergartener Gets Detention for Bringing a Lego Gun to School”

Mr. Conservative – by  Warner Todd Huston

This is the sort of upside down world that gives every lawyer, every court, and every politician in charge of them a bad name. A woman whose husband was shot and killed as he committed a robbery is now suing the store clerk that shot him. Yes, you read that right. The criminal is claiming the endangered citizen is the one in the wrong.   Continue reading “Armed Robber Shot By Store Clerk Is Being Sued By Robbers Wife”

Humans are tool users, and the best tool for life and liberty preservation is a gunThe Examiner – by Kurt Hofmann

St. Louis Gun Rights Examiner has been very much caught up in the excitement about 3-D printed guns, but there is no denying that at the moment, and for the foreseeable future, printing an entire gun out of plastic is quite likely the least sensible approach for acquiring useful firepower. As a proof of concept, and as a shot across the bow of “government monopoly on force” advocates like the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence and Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), it’s perfect, but if you need to anonymously acquire a “regime change rifle” right now, don’t look for it to come out of a printer.   Continue reading “More than 10,000 80% complete AR-15 receivers already sold”

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A Democratic campaign office here usually would be quiet this time of year, a few weeks after the state’s legislature wrapped up work and lawmakers headed off to summer vacations.

But even though it’s not an election year, the office is in full campaign mode, with volunteers working the phones and reviewing maps in anticipation of a new front of modern campaigning — the recall phase.   Continue reading “Gun control supporters facing recall bids in Colo.”

The data mining technology that is integral to the Google AdWords experience is a power tool in creating an individual profile for anyone who surfs the web. The amazing capacity to target specific ads to personal search topics, geographic locations and web history is the harbinger of a total recall on your personality. If the benefits of getting relevant advertisement that maximize sales opportunities were the only purpose of the process, the relatively benign intrusion of a materialistic message might be tolerable to most internet users. However, the bull in the china shop is not merely in the business of making a commercial profit. Google is a wonder creation of the calculate surveillance society.   Continue reading “Google and the NSA Connection”

Given the fact that numerous individuals have been sent to the Guantanamo Bay detention facility for “associating with terrorists,” Senator John McCain has now opened himself up to the same fate after he met with FSA rebels in Syria who are admittedly led by and who have pledged allegiance to Al-Qaeda terrorists.   Continue reading “Send John McCain to Guantanamo Bay”

Gun Watch – by Dean Weingarten

During much of the United States’ existence, a significant portion of the population lived near the uncivilized frontier. The frontier was a place where the laws of civilization did not reach, where Judeo/Christian morals were not in the ascendancy, a place of danger, where travelers must always be on their guard, where savage tribes held sway, a land often as not immersed in a low level of war, either between the tribes or between a tribe and western civilization, and where a man depended on his wits and weapons, and was not able to depend upon the force of law.   Continue reading “Armed Citizens and the Modern Frontier”
