The headline is not a mistake. Yes, you can still go to the ATM and withdraw funds. You can take small amounts of cash out of the bank without the IRS seizing everything you own. However, because of new rules that went into effect this morning, your bank deposits have no insurance and it is a matter of time until they are stolen right from under your nose. Eva Shockey is a skilled hunter whose love for the sport came from her famous outdoorsman father Jim, who is the man behind “Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures” and “Uncharted.” The two set off on a hunting trip to North Carolina Friday, which resulted in bagging two massive black bears, each weighing over 500 lbs. Director Jessica Solce’s new documentary, No Control, premieres November 15 and carries a clear message: “There [are] limits to every right… articulated in the Constitution,” and gun rights should be no exception.
And while the Huffington Post claims No Control offers a balanced look at the pro-Second Amendment versus gun control debate–“giving voice to advocates from both sides”–the documentary’s trailer makes clear that “gun violence is a public health issue” and this, of course, sets up guns and gun ownership as issues to be dealt with in the same way as swine flu, bird flu, chicken pox, or Ebola. It opens the door for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other groups to infringe on Second Amendment rights via agency-issued orders that bypass Congress and the people at large. Liberty Blitzkrieg – by Michael Krieger
Last March, I came across a letter written to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney from a paralyzed and dying Iraq war vet named Tomas Young. It touched me to such an extent, that I highlighted it on Liberty Blitzkrieg at the time. He died on Monday, the day before Veterans Day. If you really want to honor our nation’s soldiers, you should read the following and share it.
RIP Tomas Young. Continue reading “Paralyzed Iraq War Veteran’s Writes Last Words To Bush & Cheney”
TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) — A fight caught on camera in the Taunton police station booking room is the latest potential blemish on the record of a veteran detective who’s described as “decorated and proactive” by his chief.
A series of cases dating back seven years includes charges that Detective Robert Kramer used excessive force in incidents that led to dropped charges more than once, and a lawsuit settlement payout in another case. Continue reading “Police officer accused of excessive force in five cases”

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The fate of a little-noticed ballot measure in strongly Democratic Oregon serves as a warning to President Barack Obama and his party about the political perils of immigration policy.
Even as Oregon voters were legalizing recreational marijuana and expanding Democratic majorities in state government, they decided by a margin of 66-34 to cancel a new state law that would have provided driver’s licenses to people who are in the United States illegally. The federal government has been approving a high number of operations in which agents pose as activists and business people, a new report says. It has led to absurd situations, with undercover agents from different departments investigating each other.
At least 40 government agencies use undercover operatives in the US, with agents pretending to be business people, protesters, doctors, accountants, and welfare recipients, among other things, in order to monitor illegal activity. The information was printed in The New York Times, which cited records and interviews. Continue reading “Always watching: Undercover feds surge in numbers, infiltrate protests – report”

BRISBANE, Australia (AP) — Under pressure to jolt the lethargic world economy back to life, leaders of G-20 nations on Sunday finalized a plan to boost global GDP by more than $2 trillion over five years. The fanfare, however, was overshadowed by tensions between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Western leaders.
The communique from the Brisbane summit of Group of 20 wealthy and emerging nations revealed that the plan for jumpstarting growth includes investing in infrastructure, increasing trade and the creation of a global infrastructure hub that would help match potential investors with projects. LA PORTE, Texas (AP) — Four workers were killed and one was injured Saturday during a hazardous chemical leak at a DuPont industrial plant in suburban Houston, company officials said.
The chemical, methyl mercaptan, began leaking from a valve around 4 a.m. in a unit at the plant in La Porte, about 20 miles east of Houston. Plant officials said the release was contained by 6 a.m. Methyl mercaptan was used at the plant to create crop-protection products such as insecticides and fungicides, according to DuPont. The radical jihadist group Islamic State released a video Sunday it said shows American aid worker Peter Kassig being beheaded in Syria. The video was posted on social media.

The intelligence community is working as quickly as possible to determine its authenticity,” National Security Council Spokesperson Bernadette Meehan said. Free and affordable health care just gets better and better.
In 2015 the government will be activating some new “incentives” embedded in the Affordable Care Act in an effort to get more people to sign up.
But, as is often the case when the government says one thing, they mean exactly the opposite. In this case, when they say incentive what they really mean is that you are going to be penalized if you fail to acquire government mandated health insurance. But not just you. Your children, who apparently no longer belong to you anyway based on a recent court ruling, will be fined for your failure to get them on the insurance rolls: Continue reading “Your “Children Will Be Fined” If You Fail To Sign Up For Obamacare: People Are Going To Be In for A Shock”
A Texas woman whose four pit bulls entered her neighbors’ yard through a hole in the fence and killed their 10-year-old beagle is suing them for $1 million.
Emerald White says in her lawsuit filed this week in Galveston County district court that she was “seriously injured” on Oct. 27 trying to stop the attack and retrieve her dogs. She says she suffered “multiple serious bite and scratch-type injuries” and accuses her neighbors of failing to securely confine and restrict their dog, Bailey.
White also contends she’s feeling “conscious pain and suffering and now suffers also from fear, anxiety and trepidation.” Continue reading “Woman Sues Owners of Dog Killed by Her Pit Bulls”
