A new genetically modified potato is closer than ever to arriving in American grocery stores, but while advocates claim it can actually reduce the risk of cancer, opponents say not nearly enough is known to ensure public safety.
Created by the J. R. Simplot Company, ‘Innate’ potatoes were created by inserting extra genes into them – genes that are modified but that otherwise exist naturally in the potato. Through genetic modification using RNA interference (RNAi), scientists used these genes to shut down a few of the potato’s other original genes – a process called gene silencing. Interesting experience at the shooting range this afternoon …
The range is packed. Everyone got new guns for X-mas and wants to shoot them. There was about an hour wait for a stall. I sit down and start reading as I wait my turn. In a few minutes, a young girl sits down to wait in the chair next to mine. She’s by herself and appears to be in her early 20s. She’s the only black person in the room and one of the only women. She seems nervous as she fiddles with the gun case in her lap. She’s obviously uncomfortable. Continue reading “Save a life or sneer at an idiot – your choice”
A San Francisco deputy public defender was handcuffed and arrested at the Hall of Justice after she objected to city police officers questioning her client outside a courtroom, an incident that her office called outrageous and police officials defended as appropriate.
The Tuesday afternoon arrest of attorney Jami Tillotson as she denied police officers’ attempts to take photos of her client without explanation raised questions about police intimidation and harassment, Public Defender Jeff Adachi said at a Wednesday news conference. CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Cleveland police officer punched a 53-year-old disabled veteran twice in the face and continued to beat him in front of his wife and daughter outside a Cleveland Indians game two days after the man’s birthday, according to a lawsuit.
Narlin Shadd sued officer Alvin White over a September 2005 traffic stop that ended with Shadd, a special education teacher and high school soccer coach, bleeding from the mouth and spending three days locked in a Cleveland jail cell. GUSTINE, Texas — Here in Gustine, population 457, what happens at the schoolhouse affects nearly everyone. And something happened Monday that is causing a big controversy in this small town.
“I felt uncomfortable, and I didn’t want to do it,” said 11-year-old Eliza Medina. “I felt like they violated my privacy.” Continue reading “Students forced to lower their pants for poop inspection”
Now we finally come to the real agenda of the vaccine industry. After vaccines have been repeatedly documented by the Natural News Lab to contain neurotoxic chemicals such as mercury, formaldehyde and MSG; after vaccine shots have been repeatedly shown to kill people who take them; and after flu shots have been exhaustively shown to be based on no science whatsoever — with vaccine manufacturers openly admitting there are no clinical trials to show they even work — the rabid vaccine pushers are unveiling their end game: throw vaccine resistors in prison. Nine criminal defendants are not the only ones who are on trial, here, in a San Diego, California courtroom. This trial, it turns-out, is more about the American legal system. Today, this court’s irrational decisions, as attested to by the raised eye brows, sideways glances and sharp words of each of the nine defense attorneys present, proved, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the criminal sat, not in front of, but behind the bench.
American justice, as evidenced in the courtroom of Judge, David M. Gill this past Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, cares not any longer about the emasculated US Constitution. As the trial of innocent Rap musician, Brandon, “Tiny Doo,” Duncan began at 1:30 PM, it would be a matter of minutes before this supposed trial became a surreal, Kafka-esque scene of first-time, twisted legal logic; turning two-hundred-plus years of legal precedent into farce. Charles H. Townes, a visionary physicist whose research led to the development of the laser, making it possible to play CDs, scan prices at the supermarket, measure time precisely, survey planets and galaxies, and even witness the birth of stars, died on Tuesday in Oakland, Calif. He was 99.
His death was confirmed by his daughter Linda Rosenwein.
In 1964, Dr. Townes and two Russians shared the Nobel Prize in Physics for their work on microwave-emitting devices, called masers, and their light-emitting successors, lasers, which have transformed modern communications, medicine, astronomy, weapons systems and daily life in homes and workplaces. The Drug Enforcement Administration abandoned an internal proposal to use surveillance cameras for photographing vehicle license plates near gun shows in the United States to investigate gun-trafficking, the agency’s chief said Wednesday.
DEA Administrator Michelle Leonhart said in a statement that the proposal memorialized in an employee’s email was only a suggestion, never authorized by her agency and never put into action. The AP also learned that the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives did not authorize or approve the license plate surveillance plan. Sen. Rand Paul told CNN on Wednesday that if a drone flies over his house, “they better beware, because I’ve got a shotgun.”
Referring to a drone found Monday on the White House lawn, CNN’s Ashley Codianni asked the Kentucky Republican whether all drones should be banned outright. “Drones should only be used according to the Constitution,” Paul responded, before warning anyone who plans to fly a drone into his neighborhood. The BRICS alliance has been hailed as a saving grace for humanity from the grasp of the New World Order; but is it true? If we are to take our lessons from history it would seem unlikely.
The BRICS nations have been involved in NWO activities in the past, and this should not be overlooked because their present rhetoric seems beneficial. We would do well to consider ALL data available, and not place all our eggs in one basket.
Calls of mass arrest by huge alternative news icons such as David Wilcock have come and gone to no avail, but now the new tune being sung, is that the BRICS alliance opposes the NWO and is fighting to free humanity. Once again a fabrication of opposing sides are being shown to battle each other, but it seems they are controlled by the same masters. It wasn’t that long ago that Wall Street legend Barton Briggs told super rich to buy farms away from megacities and stock up on food and guns. Many plans have been put forward such as floating cities and armed luxury vessels that will be deployed international waters to keep the ‘brigands at bay’. The average working family have surely noticed the price of food and other goods rising but the neo-aristocracy have technocrats and economic forecasters at their disposal and they know the ledge. I wonder how many degenerate French nobility escaped the guillotine? Destabilizing paranoia is rife among the rich but the Soros-backed INET must have some interesting revelations that they won’t share with the rest of us. Concealed Nation – by George Thompson
Those of us who live in California are all too familiar with the challenges that come with buying, owning, and carrying firearms. When we make the trip to the local gun store our selection is limited to pistols which are on the roster and pre-approved by the California DOJ. The limited number of guns that pass our 10 round magazine, magazine safety, and microstamping requirements leaves us with a selection which is a fraction of what most states have. As you’re probably aware, Washington D.C.’s complete ban on concealed carry outside of the home was struck down in federal court last year.
This meant that the district had to put a set of laws in place to allow concealed carry. However, the set of laws they chose isn’t much better than the complete ban. Continue reading “Washington D.C. Begins Issuing Carry Permits – All 8 of Them”
In the five months since Jan Morgan banned Muslims from her gun range in Hot Springs, Ark., business has boomed and predictions of a lawsuit brought by federal civil rights enforcers have so far proved inaccurate.
Morgan, who claims keeping Muslims out of her Gun Cave Indoor Firing Range is a matter of public safety and not a constitutional issue, says she made the decision in September after two customers she deemed suspicious visited. She said their furtive behavior and cellphone ringtones of “Allahu Akhbar” prompted her to revise her range’s policies. Continue reading “Gun range’s ban on Muslims draws fire”
