EAST CHICAGO, Ind. — An East Chicago councilman charged with murder has been re-elected.
The (Munster) Times reports that 42-year-old Robert Battle ran unopposed in Tuesday’s election. He is accused of shooting Reimundo Camarillo Jr. to death on Oct. 12 in East Chicago. He also faces a federal drug charge after police say they found more than 73 pounds of marijuana and more than $100,000 cash during a Porter County traffic stop. In a sequel to the outrageous Project Veritas video, originally reported by Campus Reform Tuesday, administrators at Cornell, Syracuse, and Yale Universities join their colleagues from Vassar in ripping up the Constitution in response to a fake student’s complaints.
The first video depicted two different administrators at Vassar agreeing to shred a copy of the Constitution in an effort to soothe the feelings of a “student” (actually a Project Veritas reporter) who claimed to have been deeply upset and offended when she was offered a free copy by a group on campus. Russian and US air forces have staged joint drills to practice air safety measures in the skies over Syria, according to the Russian General Staff, which also reported that its military has begun to coordinate with Syria’s moderate opposition forces.
In the course of the drills, both the air crews and ground services of Russian and US forces drilled procedures aimed at avoiding problems in case the two countries’ military aircraft find themselves in dangerous proximity in Syria’s skies, Russian General Staff spokesman Colonel General Andrey Kartapolov said on Tuesday. An Idaho militia group protested the arrival of Syrian refugees by issuing dark warnings based on anti-Muslim conspiracy theories.
The III% Idaho group rallied Monday outside the statehouse in Boise, where about 100 anti-government activists, many wearing flak jackets and other armor, waved American flags and banners promoting their pro-gun militia group, reported Hatewatch. Amnesty activists opposed to Donald Trump and his immigration policies have gone beyond piñatas and have launched a new video featuring children yelling obscene profanities at the Republican frontrunner.
The new video, hosted at deportracism.com, is linked to a campaign to keep Trump off NBC’s Saturday Night Live and features a young boy and girl shouting words like “motherf#@kers,” “f#@k,” and “d#@k,” as well as Spanish profanity. WASHINGTON — The Department of Defense doled out as much as $6.8 million in taxpayer money to professional sports teams to honor the military at games and events over the past four years, an amount it has “downplayed” amid scrutiny, a report unveiled by two Senate Republicans on Wednesday found.
Arizona Sens. John McCain and Jeff Flake began looking into the Defense Department’s spending of taxpayer dollars on military tributes in June after they discovered the New Jersey Army National Guard paid the New York Jets $115,000 to recognize soldiers at home games.

FYI..The Explorers program is to entice kids into becoming LEO’s. Filling their heads with the kind of crap that we see coming out of these cops/pigs on video. The son of a friend went through the Explorers through South Dakota sheriff Assoc.
In the beginning, they sent him home with a Bat utility belt equipped with hand cuffs, radio’s. He then went through the boot camp in Northern Minnesota and came back with a Trooper uniform acting just like one of them and hopes to be a State Trooper :(. I believe he answers 911 calls at this point.

Target plans to close 13 stores nationwide, most in the Midwest where the store has its roots.
The Minneapolis, Minnesota-based retailer says a decision to close a store usually follows several years of decreasing profitability.
