A Tennessee sheriff’s deputy was killed Wednesday and a manhunt is on for the gunman, officials said.

FBI: Fewer police officers killed on duty last year than 2016
According to an article in Officer.com fewer police officers were killed last year than in 2016.

The disturbing videos give insight into a deranged individual who excitedly plotted the massacre and looked forward to the fame and notoriety it would bring him.
“Hello, my name is Nik, and I’m going to be the next school shooter of 2018. My goal is at least 20 people with an AR-15 and a couple tracer rounds,” Cruz said as he filmed himself before carrying out a shooting that killed 17 people. Congress’ border loopholes for asylum seekers have delivered more than 400,000 additional migrants into Americans’ workplaces, reducing free-market pressure on employers and investors to raise wages for blue-collar Americans.

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Movie producer Harvey Weinstein was indicted on Wednesday on charges of rape and a criminal sexual act, Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance said, the first case to emerge from a slew of sexual misconduct allegations against him.
“This indictment brings the defendant another step closer to accountability for the crimes of violence with which he is now charged,” Vance said in a statement on the charges against the disgraced 66-year-old co-founder of the Miramax film studio and the Weinstein Co. It was reported this week that a veteran police officer in Florida was suspended for five days after he made a comment on social media, expressing how he’d like the Parkland anti-gun activists to be run over and killed during their “die-in” protest in a Publix grocery store.
Coconut Creek Officer Brian Valenti took to Facebook over the weekend to write that he hoped “some old lady looses [sic] control of her car in that lot. Jus sayin…” The comment was made on a post about the “die-in” protest. According to reports, David Hogg, Parkland survivor and anti-gun activist, was in the photo on the post. The ordnance is to be installed on Trident II submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs), which normally carry 100 kt W76 warheads.
